I saw this too. Def a sample box. Looks just like mine, except the name listed after ATTN: is diferent. Jadakiss' pair is ATTN: to a higher-up in JB. My name was ATTN: to someone directly at the U of O.
 
And I must say, all this deliberating back and forth is exciting. I hope these drop so everyone has a shot. If they don't, I'll still be happy since I got lucky and was able to cop. Either way it'll be all good... for me.

so the Oregon students were able to sell these to the public? or did you know them personally?
 
As far as I know, Oregon students didn't get these. Some Oregon student got the Pit Crew 3's. There were over 500 pairs of those made. These are much, much more rare form what I understand. Oregon FB players did get these. It is against NCAA rules for them to sell these until after their eligibility has run its course. I have a connect at Nike who has access to some Oregon PEs. It's how I got the Jordan IX's, the Zoom Revis, and now these. I got really lucky and I paid slighlty over estimated retail.
 
Before anyone asks, I cannot get you access to these. I got very, very lucky with these. I won't even ask my connect again, in order to stay in their good graces.
 
Last post in this string, I promise... FWIW: Just gauging my connects demeanor and w/o actually asking them, I would lean towards these not releasing. That's a slight lean and is just my opinion. Nothing solid or factual, per usual in this forum.

I don't see why not, dude was insisting these were releasing and now that things aren't looking so bright he's flipping side's and now trying to go in on those who hope these are releasing. Kinda like someone insisting the entire time that the Columbia XI's are releasing and then if they seem to not be dropping at the last minute start laughing at those who believe they are. It would definitely rub people the wrong way in my opinion. A better way to approach the situation is to admit that you were wrong and call it a day, not try and laugh at people.

because sneakerjesus was insisting they were releasing too and hes calling someone else a fool cuz they were insisting they would release.

My bad, I didn't even realize that he wrote that post. I can't even take Sneaker Jesus serious, my fault for not reading the name.

I wasn't aware of what he looked like, I just got something Jesus stuck in my head from seeing it everywhere and knew to not take dude serious.
