50-40-90 is very rare... but what about 60-50-80?

lebron is shooting 61 from the floor, 52 from 3, and 76 from the stripe...

how impressive would that be?

for a guy to shoot a 60-50-80... has that ever been done?

He's a robot. He's scary efficient. Really shows you he's the best in the game right now.

80 from the stripe probably won't happen.
I agree.. But you know Bron increases something every year...

Dude used to be a marginal trey ball shooter.

He's at 51 now.

I think he can raise his free throw shooting in the future

his goal was to shoot 80 from the line this season. highly doubt it will happen though. still sick nonetheless

I don't understand what you are asking. Are you asking if that would be impressive if done over a season? The answer is yes.

He is most likely to reach 60% from the field although he has never done it.

50% from 3 for the season or 80% ft for a season?

I'm asking how awesome would it be if he does it...

And has anyone ever done it.

Forget 60-50-80, I highly doubt 60-50 has been done before.

Agreed.

60% from the field is usually reserved for players who limited their attempts to around the basket area.

50% from three is reserved almost exclusively for players whose attempts are open looks off great ball movement.

The two don't exactly go hand-in-hand together--but LeBron is in just about every way an exception to the rule.

I think the 60 is more likely than the 50 tbh

in order of easiest to most difficult :

80
60
50

cosign

with the amount of attempts he'll end up taking throughout the season though, i can't see him finishing with any of those #'s... still, the fact that he's doing it now is still very impressive. dude is a monster

Thought this was about to be something from the "Voluptous Women Thread"

60% from the field or 50% from deep are unsustainable percentages for a high volume perimeter scorer.

Both at the same time?

He will still end up with a ridiculously high TS% though

so you don't think he can do it?

We are only 9 games in. No way he achieve this throughout the season

Luke Walton was the best 3 point shooter back in 09...

For about a month

No, he can't. 50% 3-point percentage has only been done 8 times (3 were Steve Kerr). Lebron is a career 33% 3 shooter, though he has gotten better.
that's implying that its impossible... and throwing the career numbers around isnt right b/c he's shot over 34 % ONE TIME while he was in cleveland...

his last shooting and three point percentage years since he joined the heat...

51 and 33
53 and 36
57 and 40...

and this year...

62 and 51...

i mean... dude improves every year
