Not on here much but, if someone can assist me without being an A hole. I'm in the Chicago market but will be at NIU homecoming the weekend of this release. First question is where in the world can I cop these close by NIU? And second question is if I can't, will these be very difficult to get? Because I can send my girl to get them while I'm away but if it's going to be OVO impossible no use of having her try. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Someone school me on the Retro 88s as far as how were they released ( HOHs, FAs, botiques, etc.) ?? Did stores do raffle on them or had launch locators back then? Im an OG head (32yrs old) so I am extremely new in this type of procedure of getting Js or Nikes these days and I see the game has totally changed from those 99'-2006 days ... hopefully the Maroons will be avail for everybody ...

Funny you should say that cause I liken this release to those as well. Nothing I know factually they just line up similar. (Nike air, premium price) etc.
They were limited but, they released at the stores and types of retailers you named tho. I can't speak to release type cause I didn't go after them at the time.
I would expect something very similar for these and those who put in some solid leg work/hw I would imagine to flourish, you Neva know sometimes with JB also.

Why don't you look up the address for where you'll be, use that address to search the closest sneaker shops that are getting them, and check their procedures when the date comes closer......
