Kinda glad Anderson is off the card because I had a really bad feeling about that fight for some reason.

198 is still a crazy card w/o him.

False. Dana would let Conor box. All about the $$$ for Dana. Cross promo would mean tons of exposure for UFC.

His stance on cross promo is well documented but with boxings revenue I guess there is a chance

I don't see it happening whether it's the money that would be divvied up between the other promoters and the fighters to other stipulations that would be necessary for it to happen

I don't see it happening either but I see Dana entertaining the idea.
I don't think he would be looking at the money from a possible boxing match. More about the millions of boxing fans, casual fans potentially becoming UFC fans. As big as the UFC is, not even close to Mayweather PPV numbers and media attention he gets.

If Ronda can make Dana change his mind on women being in MMA, I'm pretty sure a boxing match between his biggest star and one of the GOAT boxers can sway his stance on cross promotion.

I'm still salty we never got that Roy Jones Jr/Anderson Silva fight back in the day, :lol:

man, just imagine if mike tyson could have trained in current day take down defense or even had a black belt in jujitsu - back in his prime

i know it could never be but, these ufc types of today would be gettin merc'd :x seizures and what not, or worse :x

i dont think any of em today can take punches like that & stay conscious

Dana has bent himself over a number of times but the Ronda comparison isn't really in the same vein as this. I think the biggest thing would be who has control, who gets the money and who dictates the production. There's obviously a ton of other considerations but I don't see him letting another promotion have too much leverage. It'd be a power struggle amongst many other factors besides the actual fight itself. Like the rules and the ring etc

Sure he's let Ronda and Conor do what they want difference being its still his promotion still his show still his crew still all his money

that's not the point ... The point is when some dudes posted it in here .. They were call morons for believing this "rumor" ... Especially from a tabloid that no one knew ... But yet .. They were rumors started by ....

So yeah ... People up in here want to seem Almighty acting like they know everyone personally and they hold these conversation with them so they have an inside track .. But they don't ... We all repeat what we hear read .. It just take a little more brain power to make stuff out ...

Furthermore, when Floyd said it .. People were like yeah but Conor is on a ironclad contract and Dana would never agree and so on .. But now Dana said for Floyd to call and the tune changed for yeah but it would only be MMA and he doesn't do .....
