i agree. but i think it's unfair to KC to get on em for these losses. with that same logic in mind, who has denver beaten? they've beaten a slew of average to tomato can teams. lost to an average indy team. lost to the one good team they've played in NE.
and i'm not knocking denver…obviously they're damn good. i'm just saying KC's three losses came to denver twice and a divisional foe in SD. and the games have been pretty close. KC may be average, but they're still the 3rd best (at worst) team in the AFC. i get the comparison to last year's texans…but to be honest, what "top" team this year can people say with full confidence will win versus all other top teams? seattle, MAYBE. and that's if they're home. that's it. everyone else is liable to lose to other top teams.

thats a fair point . the most alarming thing to me is that everyone's initial thoughts about this team being good were predicated on their solid defense . granted theyve lost two of their best defensive players , but their defense has gone down the ****er the past three weeks , including two really poor performances at home
lets see how they close the season out , but i have a hard time believing this team is going to make noise in the playoffs if their path to the Super Bowl is on the road
i have a love/hate relationship with Mankins

Nick foles was 11-29 for 80 yards man. Lol. So idk why your bringing up Barkley like it was his fault. Lol. Good try tho
And holding an offense that's scored at least 20 points in all but 3 games this year to only 3 points is a dominant defensive performance.

i dont know about most profilic..
but in that game, vick was out (who was the starter at the time) and foles was playing with a groin injury.. which left barkley to finish the game
we also lost to the giants the following week in a similar fashion with vick trying play with an injury and barkley having to finish the game (foles was out for that game).. also, was "in philly!" (we had a home losing streak at the time)
but i'm sure that the cowboys would have done just as well if romo were out and orton played with a groin injury.. who is the cowboys' 3rd string QB?

vick, missed the cowboys game because of a hamstring injury.. which he re-aggravated in giants game
matt barkley also threw it 20 times against dallas, without the groin injury.. and 26 times against the giants

Talking about Smith and Watt are used to "celebrating" after sacks or hits, and they were just frustrated that they "couldn't get camera time this week". He also mentioned "Watt isn't that strong, he just uses a swim move to beat everybody". I guess you can saw that when you win the game, but whatever

It was skipped on the premises that two NFC East teams make the playoffs this year being a possibility. If that is the case, just like in 2009, the Eagles and Cowboys play for the division week 17 only to meet each other again in the wild card. This did not happen in 2008. This only happened in 2009. Hence why 2008 was skipped. In 2008 we did not meet the Eagles a week later. In 2009 we did.
To summarize the above, 2008 was not mentioned because both teams did not make the playoffs regardless of what happened in week 17 whereas in 2009, we did.

I dont really think he was taking shots at Watt, though. Everyone knows dude is a beast. He was just saying his best attribute is his quickness and shiftiness, not necesarilly his brute strength.

desean was leading the lead in yards...got shut down...
shady was leading the lead in like every rushing statistic at the time...got shut down..
the eagles offense was #2 in damn near every stat behind the broncos...got held to 3 points..

its not that the cowboys defense was so good its just that the eagles offense was horrible.
