I don't really think the players hate each other as much. I do think SF players hate the Rams though :lol:

Crazy though what this matchup has become. I went to the 49er Seahawk game in 08 and again in 2010. You couldn't even sense any type of rivalry between the 2 teams back then.

That said I hope the 49ers slap the daylights outta the Seahawks. They got the west all but won but making a statement Sunday would go a long way.

I doubt this is the last time the two teams meet though this season.
 
Short week, emotional win in prime time, big rival, on the road, Niners need it way more than the Seahawks...I think this is the first lopsided loss of the RW era. Hawks don't need it though.
 
Cannot wait for this game. In order for us to win, we have to rattle Russell Wilson. Dude has the poise of a seasoned-vet.

I can see a win but not a blowout from 9ers. 

Team hasnt lost by more than 7 in a long time

I think its the other way around.

Jim harbaugh and Pete Carroll going at it stems back from the Stanford USC days where they didn't get along well

Harbaugh used to coach Sherman at Stanford and their not really buddy buddy now.

Harbaugh throwing shots at the Seahawks during the offseason and vice versa.

The teams having signed the other teams released players in the past.

I think both sides here don't like eachother and its good for football. They won't outright show it but I think its a mutual respect for eachother on both sides as well since the teams are similar.

Prior to last season fan wise there was no reason for ether team to care to much for the other. The rivalry brought the NFC west back though imo.
 
Also dont forget Pete Carroll used to be DC for the 49ers and I remember this story coming out years ago about Pete Carroll coming back to the 49ers but Dr. York didn't want to give him what he wanted so he told the 49ers to f themselves. Pete is from SF too.


Hate seeing Ken Norton Jr. on their sideline. :smh:
