not true. these have memory foam in the collar... you guys are pulling these complaints out of your ***.... if you actually tie them like they are supposed to be tied it's very comfortable. The memory foam might feel stiff if you are one of the people who walk around with them unlaced. that's your problem if you do that

You obviously never wore the OG or the early retros.

the ankle and heel padding were definitely not this stiff in 98.  Don't get me wrong, i still remember it being a little rigid, but not uncomfortable like the 2014 retro is.

 my og's. look I'm not saying these are og. are any of the latest retros? but they aren't as uncomfortable as some of you babys are making them out to be....

i don't doubt you rocked the ogs, but there is no way in hell the 2014 retros are as comfortable around heel and ankle as the ogs were.. even the ogs were a little rigid in that area
 
You guys have to realize your memory has probably faded and you remember when these were broken in.

Are you sure you guys are lacing them up tight and to the top?

Lacing them sloppy like kids do it these days is a no no on these. Gonna have you feeling like your shoe bout to fall off

Cushioning isn't just about the sole.  It's a bout other parts of the shoe too. Granted, every one's foot is different.
 
Also, how can people 'really' recall the feel of 'OGs' lolz.  You may or may not have your pair, but still, it's not even on the same field. LOL  OG this, OG that.  It doesn't matter.  Your shoe from XYZ years ago can't win against father time.  The comfort on these, and the XIVs in general are not as comfortable.  The biggest reason being the 'material'.  No flex = stiff!

Again, hope it feels better when broken in.

^^DS meaning you don't know how comfortable they are? That's odd, I guess you had 2 pair, what do people say, "one to rock one to stock :smile:"

No **** captain obvious but usually i have to replace the insole because nike cushioning suck in jordan retros especially shoes like the retro vi that feel like the midsole is made out of cement.

These however i did not have to replace the insoles because the cushioning was adequate.

You understand?
 
lets see if the new dudes know about the 14 jumpmans on the pair...

2 on each lace tip

1 on the emblem

1 on the toe box

1 on the insole (that will rub off
