basically. people learn it by what the masses are doing when they get interested. any newcomers are going to pick up the "new" way of doing it, but people who have followed for years picked up another way of doing it. they are no doubt going to see the new, cornier names more often and in more places so that's what's going to sink in for them. nothing you can really do about it
