i see managers from finishlines stuntin with shoes, then they take the bus to work and live with their moms.

why are people trippin or worried about what or why the next man is doing something
if they wanna work there to get hands on kicks why should it matter to u

You can't blame kids growing up soft when everyone's mentality is "i need to make it so my kids never have to live my life or go through what i went through"

Kobe averaged 25.5 pts shot 45% 6 boards and 5ast. during the 3 peat. And he only averaged about 20 pts per his first so

theres a difference between standard of living improvements and my kid should get a metal because he showed up to the game

when it comes to sports winning should always be the most important thing
 
i dont mind schools giving out an award to students that never miss a class all year though, encourages kids to stay in school
 
I think there is a good middle ground for how people should be awarded for their efforts. I do believe that not everyone should receive awards for just participating. But I do believe that people should be acknowledged to some extent

Agree but calling 2nd and 3rd place failing shows who's competed in any form of life.

Kids that are better off are the ones getting medals at every game.

This is teaching them that no matter how bad they do, they're still better than the poorer children

These life lessons get taught at early ages...

I mean, this really goes for anyone. If you go hard for OR AGAINST someone that doesn't know you, never met, or doesn't care that you exist then you should really sit down and reassess what you're doing. The concept of people saying that they "hate" a celebrity/athlete is odd to me for that exact reason.

I never understood that. That's exactly how their kids end up to be douchebags and jerks.

If I get wealthy, my children will be taught and raised according to my standards not to spare them from life. That whole want for nothing lifestyle is for when you give up. Once they hit 10 they going to public school in BK.

I may mess around and make it harder for them than it was for me.
