It's not due to just yeezy. That's a very small niche market. Their boost running shoes line is probably helping the stock go up. Hell almost every sound company is going up.

I never stated anything as fact, but it is a fact that Adidas thought the Kanye buzz would make their products fly off store shelves and that didn't happen.
Brand awareness is the sole reason why companies do exclusive deals. Did you think they signed Kanye because they care about you and your hurt feelings?

Since the launch of the Yeezy, Adidas' Market Cap has grown by approx. 1.5Billion. In that same time frame, Nike's Market Cap has grown by 6Billion and Under Armour by about 700M.
I dont think anyone is arguing that adidas is better than nike.
Better compared to what though? They made more money sure, but UA is catching up from behind and Nike is pulling ahead in front. Missed opportunity the way they played this release.
