The Combat Jack Show Thread

Maino and Murda on Combat...ehhhh, they've been all over the place the past three weeks.

Big Sean and Jhene Aiko on Rap Radar...no interest, like I have no interest in their project

Ar-Ab on Tax was probably the best episode of last week, at them referring to Karen Civil's ex as "The boy Deen that got punched up"

That's Karen Civil's ex? Bad couple of months for homey

I thought Combat had the best show last week. That Flygod album is pretty good. I like his unique voice. I intend to support.

I actually enjoyed Tray Pizzy's interview better than Westside's, but I'm not a fan of his music. That Flygod tape is really good, it's like a modern day OB4CL tons lyricism and drug references

While these episodes have been wack, I've been listening to all the old Cipher interviews I missed. Finishing up the Rawkus dudes one now.

I'm sorry but I can't get into Nore's podcast, its so Crude, he has the right tools but his interviewing/convo style is so bad lol. Hopefully he refines it and gets the hang of it by the 6th or 7th episode. I tried to listen to the Jada/Ja Rule one and cut it off after the 5th "lets give a hand for..." he kept saying after someone makes a point or mentions someone.

Idk how late I am, but that Combat Episdoe got me interested in what Westside Gun has to rap about, and I must say he's pretty good. He's raps like a member of Pro-Era whose sold a few crack viles or two.

same here. All that clapping in my ear with the low quality audio was too much.

Anything good from Tax? I'm not really interested in Fat Joe and Remy. They've been everywhere. I'm Joe and Remy'd out. Two hours with Nore. Two with Rap Radar. Breakfast Club. Sway....

I'll give Budden's a listen.

Sidebar: Does Combat have an issue with Troy ave or something, like aside from what troy said about Joey Badass? In the interview with Westside Gunn he threw a shot at "a certain up and coming Brooklyn rapper who doesn't deserved to be named". I'm assuming it's Troy, because he's always mentioning the situation between Joey badass to everyone he interviews.

I caught that also. It seemed sort of catty. Combat has lost some credibility over the past couple of years with me.

She's also not very attractive.

The way she talks, I was expecting to see some video vixen type. That ***** look like she works room service at the Hilton.

this tax joe and remy was good

best joe and remy interview actually

I'm glad someone said it. I felt like a lot of the other interviews were the same (like same stories and everything), but the situations talked about with Tax were different.

The jail stories were cool. The super hood jokes were also cool.

Is anyone else turned on by Stephanie Santiago when she talks about sword swallowing? I have to roll my eyes [emoji]128064[/emoji] when she says she'll do it for hours on end.
steph seems like she has good sex & is annoying at everything else . someone that fine would be wifed by now

sophie is sexy as hell and her voice is sexy , just NOT on a podcast when she doesn't offer anything . like is she dating tax or what

I read somewhere earlier about the things yall are bemoaning as positives about Drink Champs. Glasses clinking, drinks being po'd up, people callin the studio, the applause, etc. It feels like you're in the room and It's not as buttoned up as other shows. If we ask NORE to be more refined he'd eventually devolve and lose the uniqueness we come to him for. What makes podcasts like Drink Champs and Final Level entertaining is we're listening to these guys on unfamiliar platforms and hearing first hand stories. Just listening to Ice and Mick Benzo crack jokes on each other

Peeping episode 1 (11) now :nthat:

Precate that NUPE. Leave that review if u can.

Bookmarked, gonna listen

btw has anyone seen the Organized Noize doc on Netflix? I saw Rap Radar had them, and now that I've finally finished House of Cards I want to watch the doc.

Yeah, I prefer that. It gives you something different than the normal interview show.
