We might need to get this thread title changed with Combat releasing all these wack episodes

That Z-Ro interview (if it was posted in here) was really good. He was spot on about how when the spotlight went away from Houston, a lot of dudes were trying to be the lead guys and not linking up with each other

Didn't all of them start beefing and have problems with each other as they became successful?

Then as quickly as they became nationally known, they went away

Some of the beefing stemmed from before, and a lot of it was dudes blowing up vs dudes who weren't on, or just didn't become as popular. Just off the top of my head there was Cham vs Mike Jones, Lil Flip vs ESG/Lil'Flex/Slim Thug, Paul Wall vs Cham (money related), Mike Jones vs Magno, Scarface vs Lil' Troy, Trae smacking up Mike Jones, the general Northside/Southside thing (which I think was late 90s), Trae and Z-Ro just not messing with each other anymore even though they're cousins, etc. This doesn't even include the very local grimey dudes.

And yo, I seriously can't listen to drink champs. Bleek, Ja and Kenny Anderson ones are the only ones I managed to get all the way through. Nore is annoying as **** with the interruptions and just being extra at all times, everybody is a legend, everything they did was legendary, efn is just corny, too much stroking and and nonsense for me to really get through one.

I'm not necessarily a fan of the kinda dry interview podcasts (rap radar) but Nore is too far in the opposite direction. Dude gotta take it down about 1000
