The Combat Jack Show Thread

I think Combat is the better show. Ciph would rather be doing comedy. I appreciate Pete cuz he's a true fan and it was cool to listen to him interview ppl he came up on or loooked up to.

DC has a cool lane but I just can't take Nore. All the drunkenness really can take away from what would otherwise be a great interview. Nore has the peer relationship with his guests the others don't but that **** is too clownish for me.

It's The Real is cool but idk who their guests are half the time and while real knowledgeable about hip hop they're corny and annoying at times.

Does NY have that 3 strike law for felons or is that only Cali?
I think that's what cool about ITR for me. Even if I don't know the guests or know very little about them, they manage to guide the convo really well.

wouldn't put it past them now that you mention it.
This would make a great Bodega Boys segment

but they show love for Tax/

That Tribe ep was on its way to being a classic, if Tip didn't have to leave.

 NORE sneak dissing P when Tip brought up them having a gun in the label office.

"Yea he wasn't going to shoot nothing tho."

im not even necessarily mad at nore for cutting tip off , i think nore was just drunk and high and tip was just taking too long to get to his points . nore's mind is all over the place sober AND intoxicated . he see's something shiny and its over . . .

I don't know what the hell qtip was taking bout thru the entire ep

mad long winded

ep was a waste on all fronts

as a guest you gotta go in knowing it's all jokes and fun

don't even try to get real bars off

that's why taxs eps were getting better cause the guests started knowing who and how he was prior to the interview and lately they've been coming in as fans of his

busta got it, tip didn't

I Know A lot of ya'll don't **** with Rap Radar but that A$AP interview is one of the better ones in the past few months. Rap Radar usually have their best episodes when the guest are Animated themselves,

By far the highlight of this interview was the revelation of A$ap Yams getting neck from **** while sitting indian style. Also Rocky & Casanova knowing eachother from jail of all places

If only a Tax x Yams interview would have happened b :smh:

Wasn't that big of a fan of the Fat Joe interview. He's been in the game too long, so he gives standard interviews like Jeezy and Ross.

The Joe interview felt fake. You going tell he was just doing a media run for the album.

I prefer when he comes to an interview with nothing to sell.

quite honestly with Joe being so cool and open about everything & him doing literally EVERY podcast, there's not much he can talk about outside of the album

Listened to Joe's

I never thought JR Writer was going to be next. He was like New York Cassidy to me. The Hell Rell slander  But those bars on Diplomatic Immunity. I like Mysonne more now than I did then. I never thought he would blow, not enough energy. That conversation should have been longer.

That Jhene song was good

Over vesting

They let Joe off when he said I'm not inVESTED in this

At least Joe realizes how wack his style is. Dude is the ultimate hypebeast.. He went from foams to asics to ultraboost.

To keep it one hundred i couldn't think of someone more opposite of hypebeast then Joe

There's a difference between hypebeast and someone who just got exposed to a new style because it gained popularity. We talkin about the guy with studded jean vest & the Holy tanktop x beanie combo
