52 Week Money Challenge vol. 2014.... Week 24 - 6/9

Did this last year. Except doubled up the weeks so that I could have the money in Aug for my Vegas trip. Worked out nice. Will probably do it again. Oh yea, do it in an account you don't check regularly. That helped a lot for me.
 
Started last week, except just throwing half or more of my paycheck. Already close to $200...
 
I'm doing it by removing money from my savings & putting it in a separate account I had created specifically for my 2014 savings, I'm doubling it & starting backward so I owe $104 today, and every Sunday until the end of the year.

I also have 4 other accounts I'm doing something somewhat similar with that I started last year. Finding creative ways to promote saving is what I'm all about. I manage my money well enough I'd say but this makes it FUN instead of a task. Happy savings everyone. Just remember to have an idea of what you want to do with the money going into the challenge
 
I'm in! Oh let's do it. I think we should posts pics too especially for those that are doing the shoe box method has an increased motivation. I think I'm gonna try to do the shoe box and bank method. :pimp:
 
Think I'm gonna go the shoebox route also instead of actual bank depositing.

saw a dude from last year's thread use envelopes with singles... I think I might either use that, or try to find a way to do it online where I cant access without penalty
