* SOCCER/FUTBOL/FOOTBALL FEET, KITS AND GEAR - 2014 *

Nah I just love football kits, love the tradition of them. That's what brings me in here. I do buy Nike products I just don't believe the **** they say and could care less about it in the outside world. However, I've already changed. What brought me in here to NT when I was like 12 years old was my love and passion for Jordan's, I guess I was sort of a slave to the product (like many on here still are). Then I grew up and 10+ years later I've come up with my own interpretation of how Nike runs itself but most importantly markets itself and here we are...

I'm wondering if there will be a low-key bidding war for Julian Green. He's lived in Germany his whole life so he may prefer Adidas, but Puma stays tossing $ at players and Nike has ties to US Soccer and is still behind like half a billion, in regards to soccer sales, to Adidas.

Probably. I heard on one of those sports talk shows Green is the real reason Donovan got left off. Klinsman thinks he can be a star and wanted him to get some World Cup experience in preparation for 2018. Don't know how true that is but if he's got that kind of potential you know the sneaker giants will be chasing him.

I knew Julian has been rocking the f50s but didn't know he was an actual Adidas athlete. Makes sense as they have the current deal with Bayern.

However similar to how Messi grew up through Barca's system wearing Nikes, we could see him jump ship right before his career takes off.

On the Barca sleeve ads, it's whatever at this point. I'm with y'all and preferred the basic UNICEF on the front, the " Qatar Foundation" quickly changing to "Qatar Airways" made me laugh though; getting rediculous.

Psk, Barça is my la Liga squad, Arsenal is my EPL squad. I'm def a GOONER more than a "cule" and I'm even more of a DCU fan (MLS) as I sat in the supporters section (Barra Brava) for over 3 years in my younger days. Def not a big a fan as yourself, but I def follow the team pretty closely and try to watch most matches.

Coupe, the naïveté I mentioned is in reference to thinking they don't need another revenue stream. It's pretty obvious they need as many revenue streams as possible. Whether they use it towards their debts is neither here or there but don't think for one minute, especially needing to rebuild, they'd shy away from another revenue opp. Hence my capitalism reference. Anywho, I'm sure the club philosophy has skewered toward me$ que un ¢lub at this point, but they are a business, and many of us would probably do the same if we owned the team. Hopefully the philosophy is evident in other areas, IE the youth setup, the other sports the team sponsors, Catalunyan pride/solidarity, etc...

came in here to post the BVB kit... will hold off on copping till i see what the UCL kit looks like

Yo b fresco b fresco , Columbia going to give Brazil a run for their money. They might even beat Selecao. Columbia is playing more fluidly as a team by a long shot than Brazil. There's even a possibility that Columbia run all over Selecao. :rolleyes

New Dortmund home shirt leaked.

COLOMBIA FAM, COLOMBIA, COLOMBIA.

I cringe whenever is see colUmbia.

I think we can def beat Brasil, but it all depends how our back 4 plays and how well THEIR back 4 plays... I need James and Jackson to have great games again, and I'm confident that we can squeak out a 2-1 or 3-2 win if they do...

Some close ups of Neymar's gold Hypervenoms & Ronaldo's low top Mercurial Superflys. Anyone know why Neymar switch from his gold Hypervenoms to hyper punches the last game?
Some people say it was due to not enough break in time.

Those gold hypervenoms are growing on me. I also think the low top mercurials look better and more comfier.

That new Dortmund kit looks terrible.

Bought the Magista Obra's the other day from soccer.com with my first paycheck. Honestly, I will probably not even think they are worth it and end up sending them back. Nowhere around here would give me the opportunity to actually try a pair on though, so I want to see what they are like. If there are any specific pics you guys want to see, I can provide them for you though. They won't be here till mid July due to backorder.
