Keeps going the same back and forth pace, no one is gonna be happy with the outcome :lol: Brook really hurt Porter though in the 7th, can't remember if Porter has rocked Brook.

Yeah man I def. underrated Brook, like you said if he jabbed more he'd win easily imo... I think Porter needs a knock down to win this

Have it 116-112 for Shawn Porter he was getting tired last 4 rounds. Porter by decision.

Brook deserved a deduction for clinching
 
Damn. Activity, aggression, body work count for nothing? I'm okay with 115-113 either way or 114-114 draw. But 117-111? Wide as hell. Even 116-112 either way is pushing it for me.
 
Brook did Work. Porters dirty fighting and Rabbit punches were amateurish .

Kell Brook beat the ref and porter. Very impressed
 
Had it 8-3-1 Brook...Porter couldn't get off anything on the inside with Brook's holding (tho I do believe the ref should have given an early warning, and that could have changed the complexion of the fight), and got hit with a lot of stronger, straighter punches. Porter is an incredible athlete, but it seems like if he can't physically overwhelm someone, he cant beat them. I wouldn't go so far as to say he was exposed, but I think strong fighters with decent boxing skills will beat him. It still takes a high level athlete to stand up to his pressure, but Brook had the composure and physical ability to stand up to him as well as much better boxing skills.

Brook would murder Khan btw, would be interesting to see him vs. either Thurman, Maidana, or Garcia

I agree, I thought brook fought very composed against porters infective aggression.. He did clinched a lot but he did what he had to.. Definitely landed the crispier combinations.

Agreed. That head first charging that did him well against Devon did him in against Brook. Once Brook got the first clean right and realized how easy he could get to Porter, it was over.

That right uppercut, left hook combo in the 7th round (?) changed the whole fight

Porter wasn't the same after that. Even started the 8th backing up to clear his head.

Again, impressed by Brook
