Anybody on here bout that life? When I was sourcing manufacturers for my custom basketball shorts, I decided to look into electronics, bluetooth headphones to be particular. You send an email about them and end up getting tons of emails quoting flat unbelievable prices, a few companies hit me back with believable prices but end of the day, all of them want you to pay Western Union or bank transfer. Western Union, unlike Paypal, has no fraud resolution so if you get gone, deal with it glasses.
I was interested mostly in the unbranded ones or the Bluedio R+8 blueetooth headphones ( Amazon link ) so I used Alibaba.com to search and hit up some retailers and ask for quotes and m.o.q's (minimum order quantity). On those, I have been quoted $6.25 with a moq of 20, $4.50 with a moq of 20, and $16.40 with no m.o.q.
There's also the super plain unbranded ones, which there' US sellers who sell on eBay for $20 shipped and $25 on Amazon so I emailed him and he said I could get them for $14 if I buy more than 6, so I can believe they are cheap to produce.
Anyways, anybody ever done wholesale business across seas for electronics? Did you get ripped off? How'd it turn out?
