I jumped straight to the Future feature, before hitting the Drake feature, Weeknd feature, and finally the intro.

I approve so far, so I'll check out the whole thing later. Feedback is sounding good so far, but he did a horrible job of building anticipation.
 
I actually only like a few songs on this. Pretty letdown, but then again I don't really look at Mook for a full body of cohesive heat so

Interesting observation, I think your actually on to something. Majority of the rappers with the exception of
Jay/Drake don't boast about material possessions on social media or songs. How are all these artist
mainstream artist getting all this radio play and flopping like crazy? It's a complete waste of money for them
to be even paying radio stations to play their music when it doesn't sell.

Maybe they need the label push so they can slave on the road 365 days a years just to break even.
These artist really aren't making the type of money they say they are, it's not possible with the
current trends in music and units moved.
 
Meek does it a lot, too much.

Jay always did it a degree, but he was talking about stuff he had attained or was doing. Drake shows his versatility and doesn't rely on it.

People grew to like Meek for the emotion and because he rapped with feeling. Thus his intro being so popular.

I think that's why a lot of his music doesn't resonate with people and he's hit his ceiling.
 
Album is kinda just meh.

I expected the intro to the be the one he put on IG few months ago with AI sample of Practice, but nope. Few songs I will play again, but rest is nothing special, this might the final nail in the coffin for MMG.
 
I just can't listen to this guy. Every song really sounds the same, lyrics are below average and repetitive as hell. Production doesn't save him on this album, even though the last album wasn't good. DC 1 is probably the only project I like of his. Now he rapping to Nicki, mad embarrassing :smh:

ALL TRUE dude is sub par at best man I remember when dude 1st came out I gave him a listen but dude just don't have it man like I don't get the hype around this dude.....
 
Ran through only half the album and already like it more than that 1st one.

Few jams on here Fa sho, will get burn in the gym tonight.

Some of yall either didn't hear the album or just hating, it's no way you **** with DC1 Meek and don't feel this album. You gotta give dude his props for this one. The worst songs are the ones with Nicki but everything else is undeniable [emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji]. He came real strong on this pause
 
So it's gotta be hate for the album to be wack? Nah, Meek was the only rapper I liked from MMG. His last album was trash and this one is possibly worse. After DC 1, it's been downhill since. I'll listen to it again but I'm sure that'll be it for me. It's boring as hell. He's yelling, average or below average, same topic and nothing interesting. It's a bad album.

Nah but I would think that everybody in here been a fan of Meek at some point, and this is classic Meek so if you like his music, you should like this. The first album can't compare to this one at all, better bars, better production, more cohesive by far. I honestly don't believe you heard it yet making statements like that
 
Too much rapping with the "'Migos Flow" for me. That's an instant turn-off in my book. That flow is as tired and played as Meeks old flow.

Will give it another listen.

This is better than album #1 IMO. But idk IMO he will never top dc1, I don't see myself listening to this after these next 2 weeks. Dc1 still gets spins years later.

I got the album at 11:10 last night. I've heard it twice. I wouldn't agree with better bars or production. Generic *** flow. I'm good.
 
At this point I don't think anyone listens to meek for the bars. Once u heard one song u heard every bar he will ever speak. He just had this hunger and emotion in his music that seem to had disappeared once he got rich and became a IG celebrity. I think all this Nicki **** is gonna bring the old him back when she leaves tho, I hope, on some future ****.
