its happens.....I posted my blk laser IV on a local FB shoe group last month and like 2 young *** kids who look like they haven't done thru puberty yet started calling them fakes and stuff. Had to put them in check and ended up selling it for $460 to a older dude on there

Where do new collectors get shoe info? Last year was the first time people seriously started questioning my pics and auctions online. It's happened a few times, but 2 in one week? Weird.

I had somebody accuse me of selling fakes of the women's Citrus XI lows because they "weren't yellow enough and they should show yellowing." Then he jumped me because I didn't "store them properly by wrapping them in saran wrap." I was like homie, I've said all I can say. I've been collecting since 89. If you're that concerned, then don't bid. It's your loss.
Not a huge deal by any means, but Damn is it frustrating. Like seriously, do 5 minutes of research before you act like a jackass know it all.

Ive had black/metallic Vs called fake because they have NikeAir logos. Ive had 04 Altitude XIIIs called fake because they were all leather. Ive had womens white/silver XI lows called fake "because they didnt ever make that color"
There's alot of new people buying shoes that know nothing about releases older than 3 years.
Wasnt there a NTer recently who sold some OG white/black/red XIIIs and the buyer filed a claim after receiving them. The buyer then took them to Footlocker for an authenticity check and Footlocker said they were fake because the 15 year old SKU wasnt in their system.
Anyone got a link to that thread or know how it panned out ?

This isn't about what people think of the shoes....
We're talking about uninformed consumers who are filing false claims and flagging authentic items as fake because they don't know anything about the product they're buying.

This really grinds my gears. It would to any hobbyist as well whether it be stamps, art, or sneakers. I would just ignore it and keep it pushing. They don't want the shoes, oh well

That's why I always include no refunds, returns or exchanges in my paypal invoice. Also, I know it sounds scummy but I also don't include 100% authentic unless the buyer asks. You gotta protect yourself as a seller as well man.
