2012 Jordan Bred 11 Fitment

I am looking to buy a pair of Bred 11s but don't know what size to go with. I wear an 8.5 mens in normal shoes. I have the Fire Red 5s in a 8.5 also but have about 1/4 inch of spacing between my toes to the front of the shoe. I also want to be able to grow into the shoes. Should I go a 1/2 size up (which would be a 9) or should I stay with my true foot size? Thanks a lot.

If you're wearing Vs in 8.5 probably get a 9.

My 5s are kind of run big. I have a 1/4 of space even with like the thicker nike dri-fit socks.

If your still growing and it sounds like you are, I'd say go with the 9. Even if they're a litte too big you will eventually grow into them.

Go .5 size up. XI's look better when you have room in them anyway. Plus, after you wear them for a while (assuming you keep them long term), they won't develop a funny shape. They'll still look good over time. Using V's as a comparison isn't going to help. They are a total different fit altogether. XI's are ok even with extra room in them, meaning they won't look goofy on your foot. I wish things weren't so hyped so dudes could get a chance now to actually try stuff on and not guess
