Peter King's MMQB just released his first power rankings.  Now I know that most people take "power rankings" with a grain of salt, but this one irked me.

I know we have had a lot of turnover. I know we lost some key players.  I know we play in the best division in the NFL.  But 26th?  Bull ****.  Our team is still far too talented to be that bad.  I really think the media is overreacting to our offseason.  We are still a talented team.  We might not be a Superbowl contender currently, but we are certainly better than a team that will be fighting with 6 other teams for the #1 pick next year.

my only guess is that the 26 isn't truly indicative of the squad, moreso the division (going 1-5 or 2-4 there) bc the rest of the schedule isn't daunting

Saints and Rams are the only legit threats there, but we're more talented than any of those teams. I actually think we rank around teams teams like Dallas, Colts, And KC as far as talent is concerned.

pretty much, no way to predict. any team at the top is an injury or two from dropping to the bottom, and a team at the bottom can always come together and surprise folks.
