Should UnicornHunter’s faithful card be revoked for his blasphemous Patrick Willis comments?

Kinda surprised with the Dockett release, didn't see or expect that coming!......so with the guaranteed $2 mill we gave him that means he got a nice pay day just for being in camp!!!....

Basically... I'm still confused about it myself... He hasn't said anything regarding the situation... That $2mil couldn't been used towards Mathis :smh:

Tomsula let the players choose the captains

The 49ers ended up electing nine captains for the season: quarterback Colin Kaepernick, wide receiver Anquan Boldin, tight end Vernon Davis, left tackle Joe Staley, nose tackle Ian Williams, linebacker NaVorro Bowman, safeties Antoine Bethea and Eric Reid, and kicker Phil Dawson.

Surprised to hear Acker and Reaser are battling it out for the #2 CB spot over DJ. Acker forcing the coaches hand.

Posting this here for the ridiculousness  :smh:

Week 1 MNF needs to get here asap so we can get this W vs Minnesota and get things poppin for 2015.

19. New 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula will still be seeking his first win of his tenure when the Falcons visit Levi’s Stadium in Week 9. Earlier home games against Minnesota, Green Bay, Baltimore and Seattle won’t yield a San Francisco victory, nor will road games at Pittsburgh, Arizona, the Giants and St. Louis. If you’re scoring at home, that’s an 0–8 start for the depleted 49ers, and that answers the question of whether the NFL’s streak of no team having played a Super Bowl in their own stadium will reach 50 this season.

I wouldn't worry about these predictions. The people projecting them have about as much football knowledge as the people posting in the NT NFL thread, which is almost none.

Sunday going to be a long day, seeing all these other fans excitment, while we over here waiting. But when monday comes, whooo.

With 90 players on NFL rosters for a majority of the preseason, most teams had two guys wearing the same jersey number. The San Francisco 49ers doubled up on a few numbers as well.

Both cornerback Kenneth Acker and running back Mike Davis rocked No. 20. First-round pick Arik Armstead and offensive lineman Jordan Devey shared No. 69 while Jarryd Hayne and Jermaine Whitehead both wore No. 38.

Those duplicates are no more now that the roster has been whittled down to 53 players and 10 more being added to the practice squad. Of note, Armstead moved to No. 91, Davis took No. 22 and Hayne kept No. 38.

Here's the full list of changes:

DL Armstead - 91

RB Davis - 22

OL Devey - 65

DL Glenn Dorsey - 90

C Nick Easton - 69

LB Shayne Skov - 56

RB Gaskins - 30 (Practice Squad)

OT Tanner Hawkinson - 76 (Practice Squad)

DL Garrison Smith - 78 (Practice Squad)

S Whitehead - 33 (Practice Squad)

WR Dres Anderson - 17 (Injured Reserve)

Notes:

Dorsey wore No. 91 in training camp but is back to the number he sported during his first two years with the 49ers ... Davis wore No. 28 in college, but that number is currently occupied by starting running back Carlos Hyde ... Armstead added a one to his college number, 9 ... Gaskins wore No. 40 during the preseason ... Anderson was No. 6 ... Skov shared No. 48 with rookie tight end Busta Anderson. Now Busta has the number to himself ... Smith, or "G-Baby" as the team calls him, rocked No. 65 in training camp and the preseason.
