Does anyone know someone who could detail a jersey like that? I'd gladly pay to have my bowman with that gold trim bruhs. Real talk.

I bet I get some dome from some impressionable bird off that alone. At least that.

The actual play designs are great, but the variety is what is starting to irk me, especially run plays.

I was just talking to my buddy about this yesterday. I am starting to be able to call out Chip's plays based off the formation alone. I think I called out 3 in a row last Sunday based off the player alignment...

I am just a guy. If I can see plays coming, what do you think a professional defensive coordinator or an NFL defense sees??

It's starting to get old seeing us run inside zone over again. It would be nice if we switched it up a lot more frequent throughout the game. I think we ran 3 run plays against Seatte(albeit not always with the same player roles): inside zone, pin pull and power O.

I think we need to really give teams a lot more looks. It's becoming way too predictable.

You're more than "just a guy" red

In addition to giving Blaine all day.  If only the OLine could throw the ball for us.

Imagine a prime in shape Kaep with this o-line man :smh:

For what it's worth, Tim Ryan was on KNBR yesterday, and he said Gabbert is getting an extra long leash because he's flat out better than Kaepernick in practice. If Kaepernick wants the job, he's going to have to take it from Gabbert in practice.

Yeah I'd love for Kaep to come back and show 'em but he hasn't demonstrated much that shows he is ready. Probably will take a big stride/breakthrough in practice from Kaep or a pretty big debacle from Gabbert in game for us to see the return of the kap.

Not sure if I read it here but even he knows he's not in season shape and said he's definitely gotta eat more and that the diet ain't helping

To be completely fair in that exact same interview he also said he is 100% ready to start, lead the team, and put it all out on the line which obviously is not true so you have to take these interviews with a grain of salt.

Edit: found the quote:

"I'm always ready to play," Kaepernick said, via CSN Bay Area. "I'm always ready to step on that field and put it on the line for my team. My strength is still growing, developing," he said. "But, once again, I'm always going to be prepared, always ready to put it on the line for this team."

We're 1/4 through the season after Sunday, and quickly coming up on the halfway point. If Kap isn't playing soon shortly after Sunday, I don't care to see him out there the rest of the way.

Either give him the rest of the season to show if he's got anything left, which should give him an ample amount of games to acclimate and play, or keep him on the bench. The closer we get to game 16, the more the injury clause comes into play. Even a broken finger would guarantee his salary next season. Unless Kap plays soon, I can't envision a scenario where Kap is here next season, so throwing him out there while the season is winding down is futile.

Gabbert is essentially playing for future backup role.

I mean we are paying him 12 mill. :smh: let's either see some return out of that investment or drop him.

that 12 milly was partly recouped in jersey sales.

but I agree. Put him out there, or cut him soon. Having him as an alternate option to Gabbert is working our fan base into a frenzy.

It sucks, but it is what it is. We're a team without a franchise QB, and that usually equates to going nowhere. Going to have to wait until the off-season when we can grab a Jimmy G, Kizer, or someone else.

I am an off-season junkie. I love the draft and free agency as much as the regular season, so I'm already peeking into the future.

There's going to be some serious free agents next season. Alshon Jeffery, Jamie Collins, and Kawann Short. I would love to see all 3 in a 49er jersey.

You know our fearless GM will probably not sign any of them :frown: I am hoping we get Kizer. Dude has good size (6-4) and good athleticism. Reminds me of somebody..... :nerd:

I agree with you.

But if Gabbert and the Niners play like garbage again on Sunday...I assume Kap will get the start soon and we'll hear chip saying he gain all the weight he needed in that short time span lol

I've seen Steve McNair comps tossed around for Kizer. He hasn't sniffed the type of production Air McNair put up in College, but from an eye test only, that comparison is pretty good.

Franky G is closing in on the top 10 all-time rushing yards.

he's cementing his place in Canton, Ohio.

Does playing on only 3 playoff teams his whole career undermine his place as one of the GOATs?
I should think not, Tony Romo is 2-4 in playoff starts in his entire career and he's going to be a hall of famer and likely considered one of the GOATs some day.

Am I missing something? Tony Romo will never be considered one of the GOATs.
