I don't understand how you guys like Balke. Look at our recent drafts, we had a 1000 picks and have one of the worst rosters in the league.
The team hasn't had any speed on offense besides Vernon in a decade. Crabtree was really our only attempt at having a #1 playmaking WR he just never ended up being that.
Balke and Jed York have been running this franchise in the ground for years

We definitely had a much more talented organization all around in Kap's best years, but our o-line was AWFUL in those 2 years he really fell off, but was great in the good years he had. Give the man an opportunity with this pretty talented oline that we have. I could POSSIBLY understand staying with Gabbert if he was a vet who had been there and done it before and was just going through a rough stretch..but got damn man. He is/has been awful.
I obviously can't say Kap would have made all of those potential big time plays that Gabbert over or under threw the past few weeks, but I won't say he wouldn't have
On that note, we had some bad mistakes that turned this game around real quick. Fumbling that kickoff to start the 2nd half was brutal, seeing him laughing on the sidelines afterwards was almost as bad
I believe our defense had a 3 & out when the score was 14-21 and Gabbert threw a pick on the very first play of the drive inside our own ~20 yard line was pretty much game over

i don't understand how you can expect us the have a premier roster after the mass exodus we had. we are essentially an expansion franchise after everything that happened to us.
do people realize the roster we had in 2011 took 6 years to get to? p-willy was the 11th overall pick in 2007. you don't get the 11th pick every year. drafting is a long process. the vikings are kicking everyones *** now, but they started building going back to 2010 with guys like linval joseph, everson griffen, harrison smith, etc
