Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

Dude's is really thinking they going to get filthy rich with these Red October's or get a dude to trade heat and give cash on top

I was offered 2500 cash + All DS CDP 6's/17's, Concords & DB9 from a fellow NT'er and turned it down. 

Not because it's not a good deal, but because it's just not enough for me to let go of the Red Octobers.  I really actually like the Yeezy 2, and never thought I would own a pair, especially for retail. 

For my pair, someone would have to overspend ridiculously and i'm clearly ok with that not happening.

I'm fine with keeping them.

The hype surrounding this shoe, the fact there will be no more Air Yeezy sneakers, and the way the release was dragged out over months and then thought to be scrapped, then released randomly and instantly gone with the wind...means these should rise in value at some point AFTER they continue to settle for a while and then pairs dry up.  Probably something around 4500 for a DS pair down the line when the market isn't flooded anymore?  What do you all think?

Mos def that's why I wasn't trippin he flat out told me he would take it but seeing people put up that cash has him drifting towards that. I could respect that
 
i mean why would someone take trades on shoes they don't even want when they can just go into fc and sell them for 4-5k straight cash? no hate to anyone trying to do trades but if you are offering up items, make sure they are worth much more or know what shoes the seller is looking for. someone could offer me 10k worth of lv items in trade but i wouldn't take it.

It might have nothing to do with the shoes you were offering in trade and have had more to do with the fact that they've been worn. I don't even offer shoes that aren't DS to people in trade because some people myself included don't want them. Whenever I've ever been told a shoe was worn a handful of times it's usually never the case when I see them in person.
 
People that know what they want are looking for that "paris dunk" offer, the holiest of grails, stuff that isn't even for sale unless you know someone. Sure the numbers might add up in your 10 for 1 offer but its not as enticing.
