You're right.

But I'm saying when the knees really became a problem in 09.

The age of Sheffield, Bernie, and even Matsui could have gotten Beltran 100 games in the field that first year, and 30 or so at DH.

I thought for sure the mystique of Boone in 03 would have led us past that tough Marlins rotation, but all I can remember still from that series is Posada's slow roller down the line to end the series.

And let's not talk about 2004 in here... :wow:

I'd love to see the Yanks bring up one of the young stud catchers but it wont happen. Who better to learn from then McCann
 
also dont see the fuss in letting Beltran get some more groundballs at 1B to help save his knees and strengthen the OF defense and keep Sori at DH

They sent down Greene. Which could mean Canzler as well.

Also there's a report that Yankees won't sign Drew or Morales.

idk i think it could sizemore since i think he has a 40-man spot already
 
I'm planning on going to Thursday's game in Tampa. With tomorrow being a doubleheader, you guys think there's a good chance Jeter sits Thursday night? I know he just sat out Sunday's game but wanted to see what you guys think. Might be the only chance I get to catch a game this season :\
 
Don't even know if Jeter was in the lineup today. He's been sitting because of some tightness
 
Good to see JR called up I hope they let him see some 3B time I still think he should converted full time into a 3B unless he's beyond awful over there
 
I truly love all the Yankee announcers exception of Kay who could be replaced.
