He hasn't been too bad. Not C.C. level because of runs given up, but he's been bad. His K/9 and K/BB have been really good even despite the lessened velocity. OBP is around his career average.

First start was bad. He has had only 1 good Opening Day start with the Yankees (2011)

But the one @Toronto and the Boston game were good starts. Toronto got the win. Boston his start fell apart due to horrible luck (Ortiz check swing single, a 3-0 ball hit up the middle, the 3run homerun was definitely going to happen at that point).


He hasn't been Ace C.C. but he's pitched Ok.



If I was ranking the season 1-10 for each guy so far.

Tanaka 10/10
Pineda 8.5/10 He needs to get himself into the 7th to get better from me.
Kuroda 8/10
C.C. 6/10
Nova 5/10

Yeah, I thought that was cool. He was just saying during BP he saw him hit a few to the left and then he does it. **** Michael Kay.

Yankee bats look good today. Hopefully CC can do his job.
