The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

That was a really good ep.

They did a great job of establishing RF's new face as Barry's main villain. While as Wells he was more methodical and had to play a long game this guy seemed more ruthless and eager to get at Barry while being pretty crazy with his reasoning for wanting to be the reverse of Flash :lol:{

If I was Barry I would've gave dude up to Zoom :lol: **** a paradox.

I thought it was those glasses that were making Cisco's nose bleed and Harry knew.

They made an effort to show she was a bit crazy / desperate since she came on the show.

Bet she's a low-key freak. Barry was mesmerized by the yambs.

she gave him so many passes and was pretty much 100% sure but he still said no :lol:

does the actress have another show or something? making her leave seemed super forced

Well from the episode before tonight seems like he did multiple times. She mentions that he wakes up in the middle of the night a lot.

This episode was flames on so many levels. I am thoroughly impressed with the RF origin story. Damn. So many themes packed into one episode and it all flowed just right. And for the record, I'm still taking Iris with the number one pick.
 
I thought it'd be a legit origin store but it should be noted RF already grew to hate Flash and gained his speed force powers. This is more like his origin of ******* with the time line.

I don't know why in that dope scene where Barry is in the shadows concealing his identity he didn't tell Thawne the next time you try this you'll die.

Now that I think about it they do leave it open for him to time travel and show up in future eps. Nothing says the next thing he has to do is face future Flash and then go back in time and try to kill young Barry.

I think this ep more establishes that Earth 1 Jay aka Hunter Zolomon aka Best Zoom would probably be the main villain either some time next season or season 4. Now that guy is really something

But he does mess with Wally more, so I wonder if the writers would find a way for Barry to vanish for some time next season and make Wally the main flash for a time, or of they would just adapt Zoom story lines for him instead of Wally

Also it introduces another zoom and kinda confused who the black suit guy is

Thawne is Reverse Flash/ Zoom

Zoloman is Earth 1 Zoom

Then the Earth 2 Zoom is the guy in the black suit, but not Zolomon since he was just introduced as Jay's double

You're saying Earth 2 Zoom is an Earth 2 future Thawne? That's possible and interesting but I think they're still coming with a surprise.

If Barry faces a Earth 1 Zoom and it's Jay who would be Zolomon on that Earth it'd be cool and a nice way to keep him around and more useful.

Nah, Zoom was already from Earth 2 with Jay so theres no way for Jays doppelgänger to also be from there

Eobard Thawne is Professor Zoom/ Reverse Flash but they only call him Reverse Flash in the show. he's the guy from the distant future

Earth 2 Zoom, we have no idea who its its. Could be Barrys dad, Joe , who knows. but since he was called Zoom people assumed it would be Zolomon but that isn't the case now

Hunter Zolomon aka Earth 1 Jay Garrick is Zoom. He's the one who controls time for his speed and messes with Flashes mainly Wally trying to make him better.

It does look like they are using him as a way to keep the Jay Garrick guy as a show regular when either jay leaves or dies. Which is why I kinda thought they were giving a hint for next season or there afters villain. Maybe if Barry loses his speed force and Wally is the only Flash left, then you have the dynamic of Zolomon trying to make him better in his own messed up way, But they probably will just make Wallys story line for barry since Gustin is still the star of the show

I think Zolomon is more of a red herring right now. Could def be a speedster in a future season, but I'm still leaning towards Earth 2 Henry Allen being Zoom.

Oh I see, you're referring to the comics.

Had me lost for a sec. Cuz I was about to say a Professor Zoom hasn't even showed up on the show yet. Think it's clear we won't see that comic version on the show.
