The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

No mention of iris. She's defintiely getting her cheeks clapped by somebody else. If it's cisco or dr wells i'd legit laugh for 5 minutes straight.
Cisco and Wells were gonna get the Iris yambs before Barry regardless of flashpoint newayz

I thought iris and barry were friends before his mother's murder? Or did they only become friends when joe took him in?

Ya that's what I don't understand either. I thought Joe took in Barry because the family were friends before the murder, so Iris not knowing Barry in the new time line is goofy.

The writers on this show be forgetting things they wrote. They need a continuity editor or a continuity team that checks them on that crap.

The only consistent thing in this show is Barry taking the L.

:wow:

It seemed to me that Iris is aware of Barry to some extent, as she was trying to remember his name, but that they just aren't terribly close. Probably just drifted apart after elementary school or something.

He should change his name to Larry.

Grant Gustin teases Back to the Future moment in The Flash season 3

“Barry’s the only one that knows the timeline is different,” Grant Gustin said in the latest episode of DC All Access. “His memories are starting to get replaced from the previous timeline with new memories of graduating high school and graduating college, just moments with his family, and when he realizes that those memories are replacing other memories, that’s when he starts to realize how selfish of a decision this was and maybe he should find a way to put things back to how they were… In the same sense that he’s forgetting a lot of memories, it means he’s forgetting his powers too. It’s like he’s having a full Back to the Future moment where essentially his hand is disappearing in front of him.”

CW Seed Set To Debut New Gay Superhero DC Series FREEDOM FIGHTERS: THE RAY

"Raymond 'Ray' Terrill was a reporter who discovered a group of government scientists working on a secret project to turn light into a weapon of mass destruction. But before he could report on his findings, the project head exposed Ray to a “genetic light bomb.” The bomb failed to kill him and instead gifted Ray with light-based powers. With these abilities, Ray realized he could go beyond reporting on injustice – he could take action to help stop it. Calling himself the Ray, he was recruited by Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters to fight violence and oppression wherever it exists."

Freedom Fighters: The Ray will premiere on CW Seen in 2017, with an eventual live-action crossover with Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl or Legend of Tomorrow a strong possibility.

Grey Damon Cast as Mirror Master in The Flash

CBR brings word that The Flash has finally found its most prominent, missing Rogue with the addition of Grey Damon (Aquarius, Friday Night Lights) as Mirror Master. For the series, the character is described as follows:

“One of the Flash’s most infamous Rogues, Sam Scudder — aka Mirror Master — is a smooth criminal with a huge ego. Upon discovering he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, Scudder embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen.”

We're getting a musical crossover between The Flash & Supeegirl in the 2nd half of the season. Channeling Glee

Savitar is the season 3 dark speedstar

I'm not watching those lame eps. Musical eps are jump the shark territory.

Also it seems like the big crossover is just the 3 shows in the same universe and Supergirl will onlyntouch on the thrat/topic.

New Details On THE FLASH Season 3's Main Villains; Savitar Confirmed As Mystery New Speedster

We've known since Comic-Con last month that Dr. Alchemy will be one of the big bads in season three of The Flash, but now both Gorilla Grodd and Savitar's involvement has also been revealed...

During the DC TV portion of The CW's TCA panel today, The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed reports that season three will feature two villains. The first will indeed be Dr. Alchemy, but he'll be joined by yet another speedster in the form of Savitar. While it wasn't made official, you have to believe that's he's the guy we saw squaring off with Wally West in those recent set photos.

Whether or not he'll be a villain just in "Flashpoint" or throughout the entire season remains to be seen, but in the comic books, he has a very long and bizarre history.

However, arguably even more exciting than all of this is the fact that Kreisberg revealed the following about the return of fan-favourite bad guy Gorilla Grodd. "Yes, we’re going to be doing a two-part episode that takes place in Gorilla City."

For the comics i'd say that Grodd's a pretty popular Flash villain. Out of all of them he was also the only one to really play a major role in Justice League Unlimited.
