WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Sharon Stone Reveals She Has a 'Wee Part' in an Upcoming Marvel Movie

"Basic Instinct" star Sharon Stone is about to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During an appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," she revealed she will appear in an upcoming Marvel film -- but never specified which one.

Since she appeared on the show with "Captain America: Civil War" star Sebastian Stan, Corden asked if she'd consider being in a superhero film, to which she answered, "I am going to do a Marvel movie."

"I'm just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can't tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements," she clarified. "But I'm going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That's it."

Stan expressed his own surprise at the news, as he wasn't aware Stone had signed to a Marvel film. No details are yet known about her role.

Cool beans.

Bucky was overused... Like waaay overused..
Really? Given he's at the center at what causes the actual conflict (causing Cap to actually go rogue and fight his own teammates) I don't know if he was. This was a sequel to Captain America: The Winter Soldier where Bucky is in an antagonist role due to framing and his brainwashing.

Exactly... it's still a Captain America story, so of course The Winter Soldier is going to be used a lot. It was actually pretty impressive how they managed to make it steel feel Cap-centric (thanks to Bucky's involvement) despite all the other **** going on.

"I played 18 holes, I can't seem to miss" -Hawkeye

*shoots arrow and miss*

"Well, there's a first time for everything" -Iron Man"

"But I made you look" -Hawkeye

*cars come crashing down on Iron man*

:wow:

Hawkeye gets cooler each movie. To think he was so horrible in A1 lol

The movie worked so well working through the lens of one guy that I'm almost afraid for the Infinity Wars movie where they're going to go back to lacking a certain person to focus on to center the movie

He's probably going to reference the letter at the end. That's not even close to being a Martha moment. And, still only one moment.

From their comments one of those movies probably the first one is gonna focus on establishing Thanos as the baddest *** MCU villain.

I imagine on the hero side thing will be spearheaded by Tony until Thor shows up. Maybe the Guardians link up early or Strange shows up and then Cap and BP come out of hiding with the other Avengers.

However, they could get real ballsy and focus the movie through Captain Marvel's perspective. Which could be cool and crazy but I expect she's gonna serve the role BP did in Civil War.

I think we've seen the movies so much through IM and Cap's point of view that if they do decide to use a character to focus on again it would be nice if it's an outsider of the original core

But yea that would be super risky

Nothing about that is a Martha moment. That's just Cap saying he's sorry and explaining why he hid the truth.

It's not like the letter was:

Tony,

I know it'll be hard to believe but Bucky's mother's name was..... Maria. Yeah, let that sink in. I just thought you should know that. It's why I couldn't let you kill him. Two men whose mother's have the same name should never fight let alone kill each other. I'm sorry I didn't tell you Tony and realized I should've let you know that sooner. Hopefully you can forgive me.

I thought Wasp was supposed to be in this?
I remember something posted about her involvement in something but not CW. I think they let it be known they opted not to have her in this.

I mean Ant-Man 2 got renamed Ant-Man & The Wasp. I'm sure she'll be in the IW movies.

What I really liked is that for cw they went through several rewrites because they wanted to make sure as many characters as possible had their own arc

If they follow the same process for the infinity war movies I doubt anyone is going to get any sleep.

My wife gave it a solid 11 outta 10. lol

I'm giving it a koo 9/10. I'll have to watch it again and give it some time, but I still think TWS is still the best Marvel movie.
We sat next to this really annoying couple who had to explain some of the plot details to his date cause I'm sure she hasn't seen Winter Soldier or Age of Ultron and didn't know some of the characters :smh:
I really enjoyed this portrayal of Zemo, surprisingly. It wasn't like a traditional villain who is out to take over the world or anything. My only problem with him, and probably the only problem I had with the movie, is it really left me wondering the ENTIRE movie what his motives were. Even after he reveals to them the fate of Tony's parents I was wondering "why is this guy doing this?". I may have missed something because of the annoying couple, so fill me in if I did miss something.

On the real, that Airport Hanger scene is probably one of the best CBM scenes of all time. Easily.

^ Zemo couldn't take on the Avengers himself, so he manipulated things so that they would fight among themselves.

And he accomplished his goal. No one died, but the friendships are essentially dead.

Seen it earlier today! REALLY ENJOYED IT!! Glad my dude Spidey got his shine on lol and BP!!! Going again tomorrow!!!!

Yea Zemo was pretty clear in the end what his motivations were. He never wanted the super soldiers. He just wanted the Avengers to fight each other. 'A regime that is toppled by the enemy can rise again, but one that crumbles from within can never heal.' Something like that. He also went on to say 'I can't beat them. Stronger men than me have tried But if I can get them to kill each other..'

That line by Zemo is scarily true and applies to a lot of communities in our society past and present.

External forces manipulate and create dissension from within, let people kill each other, and take over when it's all done

Yea, I should have explained myself better...I understood what his motives were, but I wish I would have known what they were earlier in the movie rather than finding out at the very end when BP chokes him out

Just a personal preference though. Maybe my views on this small nitpick will change over time.

On another note, I can't recall in any other film that I've seen where I clapped my hands together like when I did when AntMan changed to Giant Man

You had 2 strong willed people butting heads already, that he wouldn't have been aware of..

But he just wanted to get the snowball going on them disagreeing with each other.. And he had knowledge of certain things (essentially what hydra had), Bucky and the '91 mission

Everything else was to create tension, he had no clue how far things would go.. But he had the trump card waiting

Even if cap and ironman agree on the accord, he just needed someone in the group to disagree.. Then he had the Bucky card to play on cap.. Guilt playing on others.. And finally '91

Lack of communication by cap killed any chance of fighting a basically non existent enemy and a peaceful resolution amongst the group

Everyone should have been there when the '91 card got played and maybe they stand a chance of using reason and talking it out

But cap never tried trusting his "friends" specifically tony

No one died...except the King of Wakanda and I think they said 12 other people at the UN meeting. I guess Zemo did apologize for that though, so all is right in the world lol.

'Lack of communication by Cap'

He tried to communicate. He tried telling Tony about Zemo at the airport and Tony didn't listen. Rhodes getting hurt is on Tony
