I have no idea what they were thinking bastardizing Extremis like that. Plot would've made more sense of they just said AIM found a bunch of lava monsters living at the center of the Earth.

Captain America is close.

I'd watch a Black Window film.

Hulk...maybe.

Thor...maybe.

Honestly with them using AIM i'm not really sure why Extremis had to be put into the film at all. Yeah there's a connection in the comics, but AIM is an interesting enough organization to provide an entire plot on its own. And really the same applies to "The Mandarin".

Iron Man doesn't need other standalone film because every movie he's in is his movie.

They should have went with an independent storyline, basically killed two favorites in extremis and mandarin. I would've been cool without either. The movies evolved to the point they don't need to force a bad plot to try and make it fit a comic book arc.

Yea man. Add this to the list of movies I'd see before an IM4 movie.

The likelihood of this is crazy low.

I think Universal has the rights. I wonder why it's so easy for them to loan the character to Marvel for team ups but not for solos What's the difference to them? Either way they are not using the character..

That's the thing with Thor, Hulk, and Cap that imo is the same as IM you can keep telling stories with them if you want but if you want to say he's had a sufficient story arc in his solo movies and yeah I agree the way IM3 ended at least wrapped up things nicely for Tony but as we know in the lives of Marvel characters, **** happens. Plenty other unresolved things to **** them up and force them back in to the fray that's more than just saving the day but an emotional motivation as well.

Obviously there's Thor stories for days. I'm not even quite sure on his story arc cuz that seemed to be addressed in the first Thor. He's no longer cocky and brash. No lesson needed to be learned. Hence why Dark World was just him stopping some multi-realm ending threat.

I said with Hulk we could leave it at that, he wants to be left alone and Banner makes sure that happens. AoU really ****** him up apparently but somebody is summoning his *** to one of the 9 realms to team up with Thor

There's other stuff you can cover with Cap but hey he saved his friend and great love and we can close the book on that there.

They've covered so little with BW on a personal level at this point that she's a step away from random SHIELD/government operative that's part of the team. So in one sense you probably don't have to do a movie for her. Obviously though there's great depth to her story that compels one imo.

But like I'm saying if it's just there story arc is done well that's true for most of them and we can just focus on BP, CM, Spidey, GotG, Dr. Strange, Inhumans, Ant-Man, and just from that group alone you can release 3 movies a year and plan for sequels.
