I have a kid. She will not be raised in a manner that allows her to think using her assets for monetary gain is okay.

I took tau qwon doe (sp?), played the sax, all major sports, art classes etc.

My parents failed me? You can't even spell Tae Kwon Do :rofl: I took Tang Soo Do, myself.

Not sure if you're unable to grasp what I'm saying, or simply unwilling. I'm sure you know, being raised in the environment we were raised in allows us to gain diverse experiences, friends, perspectives, etc. I believe it's the parents' duty to provide their children with these experiences within a safe, healthy framework. So, no, that doesn't mean letting my kids drink at 14, and that's not something I was able to do myself as a child.

However, when my daughter is 18, IF I raised her correctly then I believe she should have enough foresight and maturity to make her own decisions. That being said, if I raised a daughter in that manner then I really doubt she'd choose the path of a pornstar above everything else. However, if she did then I'd make sure she had a damn good reason, and if she does then who am I to control her life as an adult, especially if it makes sense for her given her situations / life experiences? So are you the type of person who won't let your son do ballet because it doesn't fit your idea of what your son should do? Or would you turn your back on your son / daughter if they came out to you, simply because that doesn't fit your idea of who they should be? My parents didn't fail me at all, but if you keep a mindset like that then you'll be the one to fail your own kids.

And in regards to me not being a senior in college :lol: ~Dude, I don't care what you believe. I'm graduating in May, heading to NYC in July to start training at a top-tier investment bank as an investment banking analyst, and in the meantime I'm heading to Stanford for an E-Bootcamp only 60 people were accepted into in April. It's one thing if you understand what I'm saying and respectfully disagree, because I welcome and value different opinions. However, if you just can't understand what's going on in my head, then maybe you're not thinking on my level. So do you.

You're already off on part A. Never said I would be okay with my daughter doing porn for money, actually explicitly said I wouldn't be in support if she was doing it just for money earlier, you can go find that post if you want. There are a lot of reasons a girl may want to do porn. Sometimes prior sexual abuse is a cause (I pray to God that if I have a daughter that this will never happen, but I've met too many girls to honestly believe that I could 100% prevent that from happening), and she may even feel empowered doing porn in some way. She would be her own person, so I can't tell you what the reason might be. All I know is that if the reason is valid, I won't be against it.

In regards to B, haha, I'm not even that good with numbers fam. I've just put myself out there in a lot of experiences and I've worked my *** off in each one of them. Met a lot of interesting people along the way, and gained a lot of perspective. Even if girls who do porn only do it for sex and attention, if an intelligent person is passionate about sex to the point where they would be willing to sacrifice other potential goals, then shouldn't that be enough? Let me ask you: If your son had the talent and wanted to become a male pornstar smashing female pornstars, would you feel as vehemently about him doing that vs. a daughter doing it?
