I got the tech pants when they first came out in grey and black. Sized up to a medium (im 5-10, 155 pounds, athletic build) and they fit great however, THEY STRETCH HARD!!!!!! In the butt area, thighs and waist.
They do shrink a lot when you wash them so you could do that if they stretch to much however, they just dont fit the same and in time stretch back out.
I personally bought a new pair (blue draw strings) in a size small. AT first they were pretty tight and looked somewhat like harden. But they have now stretched in a nice fit after about 3 weeks of good wear.
To sum it all up if your a first time buyer keep in mind they stretch a lot!!!!!!!! along with they shrink like crazy.
(you can prevent shrinking by hand drying however you cant prevent stretching unless you dont wear them)
