NT'ers talk to me about Sleep Paralysis

I've just learned to embrace it.
It sucks when you're going through it, but I just try to relax and eventually I'll wake up.

Whenever I feel myself being pulled I literally try to laugh it off. Works for me

**** sucks I got twice in one night the other day. I just start grunting n that usually gets me up. First time I got it, I was ****n shook, but after that it's just a nuisance. I don't get any illusions, but I always get it after nightmares. N to dude talking bout astral projection, I had a dream the other day where I went into my bathroom n looked in the mirror. Don't look in the mirror while dreaming, I was so scared I was literally losing my mind. I willed myself into my room, back to where I was asleep n woke up with SP. Everything in my dream was exactly how it was when I woke up. Is that the same thing or am I tripping?

Have em like once a week, so i'm pretty used to them by now.

once a week? like for decades? wow! if so, that is extremely frequent

yes i've had em

it's weird because sometimes at the moment i'm having one - i sense a door to the house has been recently opened & is blowing in the wind (or i think i can actually see a door open in another room while still in bed!)

sometimes i can fight it off - but it can result in leaping from bed in a disoriented state ready to attack anything that moves!

or sometimes the sensation of paralysis transitions into a kind of out-of-body experience where i float up out of bed & hover right under the ceiling like a balloon would!

also had the heavy weight-on-chest sensation as well - rodney dangerfield called it "the heaviness"

Right, like I was saying from the spiritual aspect of it they can only mess with you if you let it.

Yes. I've been practicing Astral Projecting for quite some time, and Sleep paralysis is usually the beginning stage.

Sleep paralysis isn't something to be afraid of. If you're an enlightened individual, it can actually be seen as quite a spiritual experience. Meditation also helps when conditioning yourself.

I tried for like two months straight to induce sleep paralysis and couldn't

Starting to wonder how it happened the only time I've ever experienced it since I can't do it intentionally.

they say increased stress during the day can trigger a higher rate of sleep paralysis at night among those prone to it

but that's coming from western medical science

I used to be scared of it.. now i actually enjoy experiencing sleep paralysis.

seeing shadows/weird colours and what not (srs).. nice little trip.

Yes, I;ve had it happen a few times. Always when I wake up from a nap, never a deep sleep.

At first it used to freak me out, now it just angers me.
Like I'm looking straight and try to get up but can't, I can hear but everything sounds like there's water in my ear. I just try and focus on breathing

Yup not too long ago, I had a dream where I was walking through my hallway n I just collapsed on the floor n couldn't move. When I woke up, I had sleep paralysis. **** is crazy, but like dude said it has to have something to do with stress.

No, not for decades, I only had a few growing up, but ever since i've been around 22 (i'll be 30 in august) yeah i've had em around once a week.
I also dream just about every night, around 3 dreams a night and they'e usually some weird trippy ship.

Last night I had a sex dream with some older cougar type lady i've never seen before.
Then I had a dream about an Alien invasion (like everyones cell phone switched to a video of the aliens entering our orbit, then landing and ofcourse they landed about 100yds from my house lol.
Lastly I dreamed about being in a tub taking a batch and then the water turned to whip cream. :smh:

I've had sleep paralysis, but I've never experienced a demon. Then again, I don't believe in demons.

deeryj23

they might be strange - but at least the dreams you listed aren't sinister in nature
it would be worse if they were all nightmares

i wish we could talk. would def considering chopping it up with whoever i see. mainly see shadowy figures on the walls tho |I

Yes, I believe you're referring to "Mirror scrying." Very fascinating stuff. I actually studied it in college a few months ago. Psychics use the same procedure for their readings; however, instead of a mirror, they tend to use a translucent ball. The definition of Scrying is, the practice of looking into objects with the belief that different things can be seen. With spiritual visions being the most prominent use. I wouldn't recommend practicing this without being well-informed of the potential consequences though. You're, to an extent, allowing spirit entities into your life. Which obviously isn't something anyone would like taking part in. I've read stories about people committing suicide as a result. Real compelling stuff.

I also had a similar dream a few nights ago. I was walking down a dark street, and at the end of this street was a mirror. I continue walking towards the mirror, which was approximately 5 minutes away from my view. Until, it eventually got closer, and closer. And suddenly, it was directly in my face. I am able to Lucid dream so subconsciously I am aware of the consequences of looking into the mirror, so it eventually disappears. But for those two seconds or so, I couldn't recognize my reflection. Almost like I was someone else.

There is a possibility that you were Astral projecting, but I am not sure. It depends on the environment from your perspective, as well as whether or not you saw yourself sleeping while you were potentially in the Astral plane.

But naw, bruh I know for a fact that didn't happen. First, it was during the mid-morning kuz I was scared to go to sleep kuz of sleep paralysis that nght. N second, my sis n kuzn were in the room so they would have told me if it happened. N believe me I told them about it n asked them about it. Nothing, so I guess it was just a bad dream.

damn this seems really interesting not that I am actually going to do it. Can you explain more about this? Stories?

I know about "Mirror Scrying" n no I don't believe in spirits n all that. I have done research on sleep paralysis, but don't know much about astral projection. But yeah, when I looked into the mirror, it was me, but it wasn't me. Like my face was extremely swollen n my eyes were real beady n small. Then my nose was like melting n ****. When I realized what was going on, I started going crazy n knew I was dreaming but couldn't wake up. I was like trapped in my dream n couldn't stop staring into the mirror. Then I had to will myself to my room n back to my bed where I was sleeping. Then when I lied down I woke up. It's hard to explain. I'm pretty sure it was all due to stress from a terrible situation n decision made the day before. As soon as I was notified of good news coming out of that situation, I fell asleep n slept like a baby. But prior to that I had a few naps n each one was a nightmare, each worse than the last.
