I have been wearing a Tissot Seastar auto chrono and at 45mm that is about as big as I would ever go and I have big wrist.

Sweet! I don't think anyone else has Bremont here so it's a nice change. Grats!

Did you go with the white dial or black?

Thanks bro, I went with the white as I do not have any white dial pieces, my AD actually gave me a great deal and I was considering getting the model 1 also in black dial along with the 247 but I talked my self out of it because i really dont need two of them and also so that I can maybe make another purchase, maybe Omega or Rolex, in the coming months

Plus I'm also involved in the Steinhart Forum watch Thor so that's gonna be another purchase coming in the future so I figured I would just go with the white chrono model 247

You just need good lighting, try taking a pic outside by the sunlight.

I want to do the time lapse with my iphone and then convert it to a gif but I've been too lazy to figure out how to do it.

^^ That is cool

I'm gonna try that man, that glare annoys me to no end and being an amateur photographer hasn't quite landed me any good shots either..

The video was great, I may give the time lapse a shot as well

Made an order of straps from Steinhart on saturday and they came today

two straps to the left are MEVA vintage ammunition straps, the other two are Steinhart leather straps, a black NATO, Ceramic bezels for the Oean 1 GMT and DLC and some lug screws from the Trition 100ATM

Straps look good!

It's always fun to do some DIY strap swapping.

Problem is you kind of want to keep buying more afterwards.

^Thx @RFX45  yeah your totally right, I'm already looking at getting a couple more leather straps including a leather NATO

Still waiting on my Bremont to come in, I can't wait to see it in person

Not sure how legit but if true it'll likely make the news sooner or later especially if those watches fetches those prices.

So I guess im technically homeless becase I have been living in my car for the last month, but I just cant afford a place to stay while Ive been saving up for the deposit on a new apt. I have been very into vintage watches for many years. Never really had enough money for something nice. I saw some eatate sale signs the other day and thought Id check it out for fun. I discovered that there were a bunch of really old beat up Rolex watches there. I recognized that they were pretty valuable. I know it wasnt the smartest thing of me, but I took the 3500 I had saved for my new apt and bought the 4 watches. I took them too a really awesome local vintage watch buyer/seller in my area to see what I could sell them for. Two of the watches are what are known as paul newman daytobas. I knew when I had first bought them that they were very valuable, but it turns out that one of them is worth around 350k and the other one usually sells for around a million at auction.
