Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: 7/11/14

Assuming who can't roam the city?

I know the attack happened after they killed those two guys, I never said otherwise. I'm aware that they got their weapons after that. Not sure what you're saying.

As far as those two guys dropping their guard, Koba did recon on their armory and came back to get the weapons. Those guys were the only two people posted at the armory and AFTER the apes road up on horseback a few days before, their dumb ***** still let an ape get that close to their stash? >D Made no sense. Caesar made it clear that it was on if the humans and them crossed paths again. So those dudes who were obviously part of the military or security faction of the humans, and knowing that, let an ape get up close and grab a rifle?

I just didn't buy that scene among many others.
Yall giving humans too much credit. Majority of the those survivors arent built for that life.
Also remember, they had no idea the apes were so intelligent

Poked my head in here just to see if anyone else caught the Lion King similarities lol I was in the theater like I swear I seen I've this movie before

I was trying to find this song for a minute then I found it like 10 minutes ago only to come in here to read the unread posts and you posted it

Could have saved myself a lot of time had I just went and checked this thread or asked in here.

Good **** though.

Saw it last night and loved it. Might watch it again in 3D/Dolby Atmos (mainly for atmos)

So Koba aint dead huh :nerd:

No after credit scene....Just something about 15,000 + hours of labor or something were put into this movie with ape sounds in the background...

It was the sound of an ape heavily breathing and debris being moved :nerd:

Or it could have just been generic ape sounds and mean nothing

No way Koba survived that....that would be so damb stupid if he did...

Saw it last night and loved how emotional it was, the opening scene was one of the best opening scenes I've ever seen...really showed how drastic Kobas change was, he was all for Ceaser and the way he killed that bear was BOOOOOOOSSSSSSS!!!!! :wow:

Random thought, were black people more susceptible to the virus seeing how there was only 1 black guy in the whole movie...who just randomly disappeared.  Maybe he went to "kick some ***" like he said...

Might see today

Coolest part of the movie was the camera work with Koba on the tank. Phenomenal cinematography right thur.

They absolutely nailed the opening and ending too. Ceasars eyes looking like a humans was the perfect way to cap off the message being sent.

There were other Black people. The guy who was using the radio.

I guess all minorities were hit hard by the virus because there was only 1 Latino guy and 0 Asian people left in San Francisco. :smh:

Lulz que?

I agree the movie was predictable, but it is a reboot afterall, we all know in which direction all these movies are headed based off the originals, so being predictable doesn't take away from how good of a film it was.

If we're gonna talk about predictability then every movie is predictable.  Characters, Action, Conflict, Resolution - Repeat.  Damn Shakespeare was predictable, the only movie that wasn't predictable was Inception b/c I didn't know if I was in a dream or not by the time it was over....wait this is real life right?
