I LOVED the Freddy and Don reveal at the end :lol: I was gonna say "How the hell did Freddy get so good?" That opening pitch was vintage Draper.

Definitely saw the hints, attempted foreshadowing, or just messing with us about Don's potential suicide. The balcony door not being able to be closed, the vessel has been breached, just go with it at this point.. what can you do?

Really excited for this season... I want to see Don get back to the top. He didn't open the bottle, he's pitching great copy, he turned down Neve Campbell. He'll rise back up.. but is it too little too late? Is he forever broken? I think so.. but it's going to be a good ride regardless.

Don is starting a comeback like Elvis did in 68. (I know season 7 is set in 69 but you get my point lol)


I'd hate for him to start this comeback only to end it with suicide. But we shall see brahs.

I liked how Pete said (without saying it) to Don, shes mine, dont touch. lol

Joan is in way over her head. But she reeled it back in at the end.

And I love Jessica Pare's body. lol

Can someone explain to me who the **** that old guy was at the end of the episode in Peggy's place? Was she smashing that dude? I don't understand who that was.

:lol: End of last season had me thinking Peggy was in charge and in control. I thought she'd be running creative for sure. Sideways move for her even though Don's out.

Freddy! :lol: That pitch had me thinking damn son might be on hs grind this season. Come to find out it's all Don :lol:

Thought Don was gonna smash Neve :smh: Passed up the yambs to get to "work" Son had me thinking he was actually gonna come back.

Nice to see Pete in a good space. Hope it stays that way. It could easily be a front he put on cuz Don's around and he feels terrible but we'll see.

Don't know how much time passed if dude still has the eye patch. His poor depth perception :lol:

Roger's daughter is probably in a cult :smh:

That ending depressed me. It's like Don is realizing he's really gonna have to work hard to get his spot back and in the mean time this is his life; alone in his house, being "bi-coastal" with his wife with a stuck sliding door in the winter.

Didn't care for Joan's story line. :lol: @ the shoe dude. It's weird seeing the kid from Cougar Town play a grown up, talking about his wife and kids.

i think he was suppose to fix the toilet of the little kid who yelled at her before but they werent home or something

Pretty sure that's her brother-in-law. I think Peggy just wanted some company and didn't want to be alone at night.
 
Joan is my unsung star of the episode. She keeps proving just how valuable and resourceful she is to the firm. Joan's confidence in her abilities has grown tremendously since last year. Look how she didn't rely on her looks and sex appeal when dealing with the problem with Ken's account, but rather she went to a college professor to get what she needed and even there she wouldn't play up the professor's innuendo for a sexual favor.

Still tho. I thought peggy was supposed to be on her way to being the boss. That guy should be smacked for that "I guess your charms don't work on me" line :smh: Dude can't touch peggy
