This is wild. There are always stories about people being wrongly imprisoned, only to be released well after the fact. This is the opposite.

A convicted criminal who spent 13 years as a free man because of a clerical error now faces the same amount of time in jail — after authorities discovered their boneheaded mistake more than a decade later.

Missouri officials who stumbled upon the paperwork bungle — which showed felon Cornealious “Mike” Anderson as an inmate in state prison even though he never showed up there — want to undo the snafu by throwing the now-upstanding businessman behind bars for the next 13 years.

After the BK incident, he's obviously turned his life around for the better. Such a strange situation and TO ME, it seems like a waste of taxpayers money to put him behind bars. How do yall feel about this?

Damn they gotta let that go. Sounds like dude used up his gift the right way. This is more about them being embarrassed than anything.

QFT.

My dude rehabilitated himself better than any prison system could.

Now they're gonna lock him up and deprive us--the public at large-- of a decent, contributing member of society?

America is so unreal sometimes...:smh:

If he was black they'd call him a long time fugitive. But since he's white he's an upstanding businessman....

Had to get it started.

Ah jokes aside, this is terrible. The man has clearly rehabilitated. K, I understand he committed armed robbery. And he should have to be held accountable, but give him community service, maybe a few months of prison, but 13 years?

THEY made the error, not him. He's already been away from his family for 9 months, enough is enough. He's obviously a valuable member of society and his household, WHAT DOES THIS ******* PROVE!?! **** this system man.

Doesn't bob barker own a prison supplies manufacturing company something like that... Also wats with these jail threads.. I think it's time for an official one?

I tell you this is really sicking.... Really sick. why take a good upstanding citizen and throw him in jail

I mean they could have said ok we will have to arrest you, set a low bond,. you bond out and we will work it out.. probation and if you catch a charge in the future then we can send you to jail

This really angers me
