FX' Fargo Sunday 10PM ET : Season 4 Episode 8 "The Nadir" Starring Chris Rock 11/08/20

Oh man! I see what they did there with the One year skip. They basically segway'ed into the start of the first film. This show is genius.
Joel Coen had Frances McDormand and John Carroll Lynch conceive a back-story for their characters to get the feel of them. They decided that Norm and Marge met while working on the police force, and when they were married, they had to choose which one had to quit. Since Marge was a better officer, Norm quit and took up painting.
Gus is a postman. Norm painted postage stamps.

woah. key and peeles characters got stuck in the file room then?

edit ** nygard still on a roll
edit edit** malvo!!

NyGOD :pimp: My man Lester got a whole year to flex with his new found swag. I'm just happy he got that time to be on top. Almost thought he was gonna smash his bro's wife in the house for a sec (and given the timeskip he might've)

I gotta say I don't mind the time skip makes sense that time would have to pass given how Molly got shut down on each case but damn they went from nice call backs and references to the movie to outright copying it by making Molly preggo and about to resume this case that's been bothering her for a year now. Makes me wonder if they'll do anything dangerous with that this time around but I honestly I could've done without worrying about that.

Lester bagging the fine Asian co-worker, still got that wandering eye, straight up sonning the Hess boys, winning that salesman award. Threw away all his dead wife's stuff and got that new washer. Nothing but Ws and now he about to step to Malvo :smokin

So far don't mind the Key and Peele characters. Clearly another in to resume this story given the timeskip. Fumbling FBI agents.

2 episodes left. **** is going to to nothing but high octane from start to finish. They basically set up the back stories in all of these episodes and now it's where everything comes apart. Ugh, I can't wait.

Great episode.. felt last week was a bit slow, and with the time jump this week.. it really caught my attention more. Lester did a complete 180 on his life, but I'm curious to see where him seeing Malvo is going to lead to.

Damn...I wish this was an ongoing series. One season isn't enough. Nygard :smokin...swag juice straight DRIPPIN' off my dude. ...Malvo'll dry him off.

aye I thought lester would end up with the bro's wife when they started showing the salesman convention and the year skip. Instead he bagged that fine asian chick. :pimp:

Lester was on a roll though :wow: stapled den dudes

I didn't get the scene with the african dude. Was it just to show that the chief is a nice guy but a stupid cop?

Odenrick has killed it as the stupid sheriff

"They made you a cake! With an assault riffle made out of frosting!"

Man I really think the Chief is Saul and he just playing dumb. He don't want no more problems

The story about their African son was just a cool story like that sex story and that thing that stung/bit dude. Cool lil stories that take up time. I got drawn in while they were telling it.

wait bruh i thought that was the finale!

I was like "wait they cant end the show like this!"

Body is ready

Malvo gonna end lesters runs though. I have a feeling

I'm glad he slapped them Hess boys...although they have every to off Lester...I mean he got their pops killed, bust in their mom and slapped them with staplers. Can't lie, when Lester won the award I was hype.

Malvo is that dude. He went to recruit the dude whose partner he just killed...the way he killed that cop...ill!

I got a bad feeling for Colin Hanks daughter. I feel like Colin is going to catch Malvi but Malvo is going to off his daughter...I'm preparing for them feels.

Saul is still that dude, even in this, adopting random African kids.

^ I don't think he was trying to recruit him...just letting him know if he wanted to die on his own terms, like the bear, he'd be waiting. I'm calling it though...Mr. Wrench ends Malvo.

Hmmm...that's a good angle. Didn't even think about that...Malvo is such a g. If I see Billy Bob Thornton I'm immediately dropping the dragon speech.

What I want to know is, why does Lester go up to Lorne in the preview ?? Was it just a coincidence they were in the same place? Or is this another long con by Malvo?

Remember how Malvo has that case of tapes of different conversations and one of them is Lesters? Is it possible he's been keeping track of Lester's rise and now he's come to collect through black mail?

I really love this show.

^ I wouldn't want him as my dentist, I know that for sure. Lester's high on himself right now...I think that's why he approached him. I bet he says 'yes' in the elevator too. Balls to the wall.

:smokin, yeah...bad *** script for a bad *** character and Billy Bob nails it. I'd be surprised if we don't at least see a nomination for him, if not for Freeman and Tolman also.
