Not going to sit here and act like I don't care but whenever this deal does go down for Pau, it's been great having him as a Laker. Even though he played a shell of his former self, he handled everything with class and professionalism. Countless trade rumors year after year

No it's not. Shooters are always in demand. Especially bench shooters. Even more so for playoff contenders. If he is blocking moves (I doubt he will, because it's an insignificant number over 4) he can be moved quickly

I will forever appreciate his time here. I'm sad to see him go now that it's happened, even though it was clearly best for both sides and something I've anticipated for a while.
The writing was on the wall for him in LA. He's not at a level where he can do anything worthwhile for us in our situation (and the Lakers can't do anything for him, either), but I still think he has enough left to give the right situation and roster a boost. I think Chicago has a chance to be that. I hope it is.
