If we sit still and carry much of this roster over with just a "healthy" Kobe and the rook, you'll get back on the Tank wagon with the rest of us.

If we get Lance/Bledsoe type pick ups, and the rook, we won't be terrible enough to tank so it won't matter.

Too much work to be Team Tank.

Bledsoe should fetch $12M per minimum (Ty Lawson got 4 yrs-$48M). I feel Lance will fetch at least $10M per minimum (DeMar DeRozan got 4 yrs-$40M).
If we get Bledsoe at 10 and Lance at 10...would you trade your top 5 pick then for Love? Is that possible?

Bledsoe

Kobe

Lance

Love

_______

The argument with that will be that you can always get Love next year. That will always be the argument against anything dealing with sir Kevin Love

kingjaffejo kingjaffejo got it.

Just can't do it in good conscience.

Also Kobe, Lance, Bledsoe, stretch provision for Nash would put us over the cap trying to get Love.

Although if they offered us a later 1st round pick with Love id def considerate...

Either way we get a young pick and the star that we all want a year early.

We then could swing outright for Bledsoe

We should tank for the next couple years. Dead serious.

Couple of years?

Not going to happen.

Lakers have to start making a huge step of improvement for next year to even have the opportunity to be a player in 2015.

They won't. Never been any precedent for a team trading their Franchise Guy AND a First Round Pick for a single First Round Pick

I would make two offers out to the young free agents. But only can take one.

1. Eric Bledsoe 4 - $54 mil. Not max, but similar deal to Eric Gordon's 4 years $58mil guaranteed, Gordon has a 5th year player option.
2. Lance Stephenson 4 year - $36mil. Underpaying in first couple years, based on the market. But I wouldn't give him 4 year / $46mil.

For a quick recovery. Hope CP is right about Bledsoe. Pray for a top 3 pick.

2014:
Bledsoe
Kobe
Wiggins or Parker
???
???

Bench:
Nash
Farmar 1 year - $3mil
Marshall
Henry 1 year - $1.5mil
Young 1 year - $4mil (Reason you bring him back is because of the uncertainty of Farmar who would need to put some minutes at the 2 & Henry to stay healthy, and Meeks would cost more than 1 year. Also you need his scoring off the bench, something Wes wouldn't give you).
Kelly
Sacre

Would have Mid-Level Exception for Center. Have to find a minimum for PF on 1 year deal.

or

2014:
Bledsoe
Kobe
Wes 1 year - $3mil
???
Embiid

Bench:
Nash
Farmar 1 year - $3mil
Marshall
Henry 1 year - $1.5mil
Young 1 year - $4mil
Kelly
Sacre

Then Mid-Level Exception for the 4.

2015:
Bledsoe
Kobe
Wiggins or Parker
Love
????

Farmar
Kelly
Sacre

or

Bledsoe
Kobe
Wes
Love
Embiid

Farmar
Kelly
Sacre
