Based on this pic, not only is this a bad idea, but they're not even doing it properly


If they want to make an 11 version of the IV they shouldn't make the whole damn shoe patent leather. Just the lower part of the upper. The IV has the toe box leather that practically mimics the XI. Why not use that to your advantage

Plus, can't really tell in the crappy pic or not but if they really wanna do a proper Xi they need to make the outsole Icey Clear

Easy pass and I rarely voluntarily pass on IVs. Lightning and Thunders are the only one so far but if the Lightnings rereleased I would probably cop (but only if it is a GR).

But I hate patent leather with a fierce intensity unless it is used moderately

exactly, can't really judge by the initial pics. $225 price tag is steep, but nobody complained about the $250 before tax  price last Saturday when buying Yeezy foams. The lab series is NOT a fusion. A fusion physically mixed two different shoe models to create a hybrid shoe. 3lab5s are still air jordan retro 5s just incorporated with air jordan 3 traits.
