If I was running Nike, even if KD goes to UA, I'd still release the whole VII line. Just take the KD logo off, rename it and drop the price down to $120. Call it the Zoom Traitor 1 or something. People would still buy them. I would.

GG's arrived last night.

Wore them to the fitness centre.

My first impressions: This is a well manufactured sneaker.

For the 20 dollar price bump from the 6's, you are truly paying for much greater quality (when you consider the extra 15 bucks differential from the 5's to the 6's... the increase this time around actually feels legitimate. The 7's predecessor should have been the KD TREY for this model... seriously).

On feet: Wow. The cushioning on these joints are on par or exceed anything in the Kobe/Lebrong line by buzz light years!!!

I did half up because i tried my boys size 11 (i went true on the V's, halfed up on the VI's), albeit slightly long but the midfoot feels tight - to which, i didnt even secure the strap on (says a lot about the build quality and fit of the design).

Played in my GGs the 2nd time the other day. Cushioning was a lot better. Felt a little pain on middle area of top of my foot. I thought it was the strap the causing that. Went a way after a while tho.

Meanwhile, pages ago someone mentioned how the inside of the box can scratch the heel of the shoes. Totally valid, the cardboard on the inside, short sides of the box does not stay down and is sharp as hell and if you aren't careful it can definitely scratch the heel of your shoe. I duct tape all my boxes now. Haha

Yes. You have to be carful with taking these out of the box. Told Nike about the problem they said they would look into it. Wouldn't be bad if the box was actually glued together properly.
