I have posted last week on comparisons with my FTL pair and my RevUP pair. No differences enough for me to say that one is b-grade/fake.

There is correlation with these 1.0 restocks only being from running specialty stores and not showing up anywhere else.

It would lead me to believe certain stores have special accounts like consortium accounts to boutiques.

I understand that the differences aren't enough to say it's b grade/fake, however how do we explain there are differences at all? Like mentioned previously, all my other pairs with different production runs are EXACTLY alike.
Not every pair is going to be exactly the same, especially in different production dates. you may have just got the luck of the draw.

for one, there are tolerance levels in general with any product whether it be shoes/bags/pants/etc are in place. So an 'error' can be passed on as okay if it meets certain criteria per inspector(s). in the example below, I bought 2 pairs of solar reds from ADC. And as you can tell the gradient/colors are slightly different.

secondly from the time of each production date, a company can possibly use a different vendor for certain materials such as printing or box supplier.

Do you have a revup pair to compare to your current pairs? I am confident you wouldn't find much difference.

^yeah, i don't find it odd at all that pairs produced a year or more apart could have a little variation in the size of the print on a box label. Plus you'll never find a perfect pair of shoes, whether it's glue stains or a loose stitch- or a number of other variances you have to remember that there are humans involved in the production. My navys have a few imperfections but I don't really care since they aren't for display

Sneaker articles are now reporting the release of TB. Plus they are using V1. Come one adidas stop playing with my feelings.

Sorry I haven't been following this thread as closely as I could have. What are the TBs? Triple Blacks?

I agree that all pairs will have flaws and the actual composite/build of the shoe may be slightly different, even across the same pair. But specifically, I've never seen a different tag or box used other than for international pairs, but it may be possible. Unfortunately, I do not have a revup pair to compare hence why I'm here hounding you about it lol. But really, it just amazes me that these things are still available in such significant quantities.

I've been busy teaching since mid August and haven't had time to really jump in here and post, but I have to tell you I've been coming in here since February and jpac has been very, very helpful to A LOT of people, regulars and non alike. If you were a frequent visitor, you'd understand more where he is coming from. I can't count how many times this issue has been brought up, and how many times it's been put to rest by what I and other regulars consider "experts" concerning UB's. He just doesn't take **** from people. I'm sure you can understand that answering the same question over and over and over again can get frustrating. On top of that a flippant remark made just exacerbates the situation. It's like some rookie coming into the locker room and telling you how the offense runs when you're the one who has been running it the last few seasons. Of course you're gonna get a *****. He's not gonna come at you for no reason. jpac, plus casper, tank, flood, gordy, they know what they are talking about. Isn't it wise to get your info from people who have been in the game since jump? I'm just saying... This thread is always entertaining haha hope you're all doing good.

For the record, I don't know ****. I just spend most of my 8 hour work day in this thread 0]

folks that bought from any of the running specialty store from these current restocks are solid.

Until we get an Adidas employee who deals with vendor orders and/or ADC orders, we will never be 100% sure.

But I am 99.9% positive that you are getting the real deal at these specialty stores.

If these are all b-grades with a prod date of 07/16 then there should be authentic/perfect pairs somewhere else with the same prod date. Kinda difficult to justify that if the only things released so far are b-grades that have been restocking a lot recently.

If that's the case then Adidas might need to get a new machine.

Did anyone order the V1 White UBs from RevUp Sports?
i did, off of a restock a week ago. i just received them in today, and it is the 7/16 production run. i have the 3/16 production run as well, and the font of the box tag does differ. also, the font of the tag inside the shoes differ as well. boost seems a little softer (as do the yeezy 350 v2's), but otherwise, very similar. to me, the 7/16 production run is better quality as far as the stitching/gluing etc. is concerned.

hmm, you have any 2.0 UBs to compare your 07/16 pair with? I haven't broke in my 07/16 pair yet.

Hearing this 'softer' boost is intriguing.

If they feel the same then it could possibly mean the formula/mold they use for the midsole changed from 1.0 to 2.0.

I'm still boggled as to why they used the 1.0 sole on a new production date when they have the capabilities to use the 2.0 sole for 1.0 knits.

No one today has provided concrete evidence that are aren't anything more than 2.0CBs.

Folks just heard triple black and awoke everyone out of UB hibernation.

Yeezy Mafia said they were TB's, I thought. They ain't Adidas, but they be right a good majority of the time. Either way, Ill be checking in on the 13th for them.

i have the gold medal 2.0. that has a production date of 5/16. it has firmer boost than the 7/16 1.0's. maybe they changed the tag starting 7/16...i don't know.

Interesting. who knows then. could just be variance. Not all my pairs feel exactly the same but some feel more similar than others.

Either way, going to enjoy 1.0 restocks until they decide to discontinue production on them.

Lots of money saved this end of the year since the 2.0s were underwhelming that their predecessor.

There were multiple sites/twitter accounts that were for sure about the 07/01 release. it took official adidas account to debunk it from what i recall.

I guess we will wait and see what FTL and/or ADC decides to tweet about that.

Any CB1.0s still out there for retail? My current pair is toast. Also purchased from RevUp

With fakes these good, I'm starting to doubt my Stripe3 purchase now...

Damn wtf. I'm sure there are differences but I would need both in hand. It's getting spooky out here.

Now about the TB. Do you guys actually think adidas is releasing the 1.0 knit. I honestly find that very hard to believe. Seems like adidas left 1.0 behind and never looked back. Weren't there just pictures circulating of a gradient TB a week ago too?
