Got my second pair of Core Blacks in yesterday from the Adidas restock.

Non-wool. My first pair is wool. I like the first better. Second will get rocked though.

Is 220 a good price for the white UBs? Or should i wait for maybe a restock to happen.
its a great deal; its close to retail as you can get; jump on it. If you include tax; its about a hair under $200 depending on your state tax; some websites charge shipping so thats another $8-10 right there; If you take transit to a sneaker store you still have to pay $5 round trip and if you drive to the mall you still spend some change in gas money.

really curious what you guys are doing

og ultra boost been on my feet since march. harshest weather with rain, mud, everything, in germany and eastern europe. basically daily beaters

and while the midsole surely is not shiny white anymore, there is not a single trace of "yellow" i can find except maybe for some spots on the outsole between the black mesh. so the part which is abused the most

i can't be the only one that is so "lucky"?
really depends on how long you've been wearing it. My pure boosts have about 2 years in them. Also depends on your perception of what's yellowed and what's still white.

On another note, RRS grey's was just delivered. Another pancaked box from RRS

. But for around $120 for grey Ultra Boost, I can't complain.

On another nother note, white/green kolors still available in some sizes here..

I'm curious as well. Do you wipe down your midsoles? I feel like thats what might cause them to yellow

Found a pair of white UB size 8.5M for $200 shipped. PM me if you're interested, don't want to post the link here.

Edit: Sold out now

What the hell did Adidas do to the sole of the UBs, damn! Not only does it shred so easily but the traction is almost non-existent.

Been on several very close calls slipping on a barely moist floor. Shoe has the worst traction of any shoes I've ever owned.

old news. this is being fixed on the 2016 models with a new continental sole.

Yellowed boost mid soles? Really? I've had the OG boost runners plus 6 additional pairs and I have had zero issues

It's not the same type of yellowing that people experience w/ old Jordans and whatnot, more of a "graying" if anything, it only happens on the parts of the midsole that get the most exposed to dirt for me it's the lower portion of the midsole up under the forefoot, the bottom centimeter or so is seemingly permanently darkened. The normal soap and water treatment doesn't do much for it but I've heard there are some cleaners that will do the trick.

Will try and post pics later when I get home.

I know it's old news, just wanted to reiterate how bad of a decision they made on the sole.

definitely a problem, i stated this back when i first got the silver pair and wore them into a restaurant. we all know their floors are grimy, even when clean. i literally was gliding on the floor every step. i can say tho, since my pairs are essentially "broken in" or slightly worn down, i havent noticed any sliding.

Solar reds are fire. $124 shipped from RRS with 10% cash back

People were not lying, these really are the most comfy shoes.. Beat out the huaraches. How can someone wear these then go back to basketball shoes?

UB > rocket boost & pure boost. Pure boost is a little too mushy imo. Rocket boost is firmer but higher off the ground than the UB
How did you get your pair down to $124?

Lol! Does anyone if the silver LTD UB are still available?
They seem to be pretty scarce these days. I've seen pairs on eBay lately but that's about it. Seems like they were indeed "LTD". Grey wools are kinda the substitute for those who missed out.

I tried on the climaheat rocket boosts yesterday. They felt really good standing still, but I've been spoiled by the UBs, any shoe w/ a toebox that creases when you walk just seems so archaic to me now haha.

WHAT is the difference between the core blacks and the black with silver. Im so confused.. My gf and i were talking about it. She says the logos are silver and the aglets. Can someone chime in..?
