I like the Collegiate Navy colorway a lot. Seems like it's sitting, so there's a chance to pick it up once some discounts start coming in. Never tried boost for running before, so I'm looking forward to giving them some burn.

I don't think there's as many left as you think, when I last checked most sites had sold out
 
Anybody know of any online retailers with the core black UB ? Always sold out in size 11 wherever I look

I thought it was more common due to the fact that my local running store(which usually gets take-down models of everything) has a FSR. Hah, I'm going to try to hold out until Black Friday, I'm at least encouraged that we're getting some better colors. The Core Black and White were instant sell-outs, and the Volt pair are just not my thing, so it's really between Navy and Solar Red, which is nice, but I definitely am done with red kicks.

I'm in SoCal and have seen Navy's sitting on Footlocker shelves. Solar, Volt and Navy didn't sell as well as the other colorways.

I do not. Just the non-wools.

The wools just have that fuzzy look to them after a few wear. A lot of people don't notice them.

To me, what i don't like about the wools is the shape. I could be crazy, but the shape of the wools look puffy to me, while the non-wools are tighter and have a sleeker look.

What may turn me off is the only wools i ever see are on display in store. So hundreds of people have grabbed them. Maybe this why they don't look good to me.

If i had a choice, i'd wait it out until i found non-wools. You'll find them.

With the silvers/greys, I actually prefer the darker hue with the wools, but again, I like the tighter material of the LTD's. So i passed on the wools.

If you go back through this thread a bit there's a lot of people outlining the differences. Basically not much difference aside from a slightly different material used. I have pairs of both wool and regular core black and they look almost the same on feet. Wools are softer and warmer, slightly darker in color, they don't have quite as "sharp" of a shape but still, the differences are very slight. On feet they look almost identical.

I was on the website trying to get the white UB added them to my cart couldn't check out and a day later adidas emailed me saying it was in my cart still but nothing was there :frown: lol

Just a hunch but I bet we'll see both of them sometime this fall. Wouldn't be surprised if they put them both out at the same time here for the xmas season. They are red & green after all...
 
I just picked up my 8th pair of all white UBs (all in store at adidas). I'm keeping 2 and gave oops to my cousins and friends.
