adidas has already done limited collabs with shops way before kanye signed with them. I remember atmos tokyo dropping superstar 80s with both 3m and GITD in one shoe that I really wanted but only atmos was the only store selling them worldwide. Kanye just added fuel to the hype.

I was referring to the ultra boost specifically but now that I'm thinking about it the KVA probably dropped before the Kanye hype

If adidas does limited collabs to their other models previously, you would also see that with new models like the ultra boost. kanye making everything hyped up cringes me. I dont get why this guy is so big in the sneaker community. he hasnt done anything big/notable unlike MJ,Kobe, etc. I guess thats what happens when you are famous?lol

Dude never responded to anyone, not sure what he was talking about.
They were stocked today at my local sneaker boutique here in Rhode Island, sneaker junkies. I didn't make the original claim but yes they seem to have popped up at some.

Word yeah there have been little boutique restocks all week. A guy a couple pages back posted a vague comment along the lines of "Creams restocked, check your local stores" but never clarified what he meant.

I sort of understand back in Kanye's Polo, Jordan and backpack days, but now Kanye acts and dresses like a weirdo and looks like he's been wearing the same thing for three days straight.

I know it seems odd but that's what hype does. As low as it might be the shoes do have a resell value and because they're limited heads want them to rock. As much as people don't want to admit it, I do believe Kanye is the reason why adidas has decided to collaborate with shops on this shoe/ drop limited color ways.

I think collaborations is the thing to do now. All the other brands do it(Reebok, Asics, Puma, Saucony) The question is does it bring an identity to the rest of the brand? It's good to the boutiques, because if brings awareness to them, but if everyone is doing it, how exactly do you stand out? Nike is able to sell hundreds of thousands of huaraches with no celebs, promotion or collaborations.

Just finished my damn LSATS. Looks like I missed out on 2 different NMD's and a Just Don restock :frown:

please tell me there were no sns releases...

yes there was

cheapest sns i've found is 300 for a 10. can't bring myself to pay that much for a boost
Never made sense to me why people won't pay $300 for a $180 Boost shoe, yet they'll pay $1000+ for a $200 Boost shoe that's arguably uglier, less comfortable, less "technological", and also in some cases, less rare.

this...im not gonna lie, I'll cop yeezy's to resale to get what I want and possibly more UBs.
