I actually didn't use Angelus for this. I used a light body opaque acrylic paint called Neoopaque by Jacquard. It is neither matte nor glossy--The shine you are seeing comes natural from the white boost material plus a massive amount of light shining in. If you look at this pic here you can see the boost material split horizontally into two parts divided by a line.. it's naturally glossy on the top section and more matte on the bottom section. I'm completely satisfied w/ the results.
I didn't want to use Angelus again because I used it before on an OG Chicago 1 project... The paint had a weird finish after it dried. However, with this Neoopaque stuff, it is extremely flexible when dried so it is more resistant to cracking.Edited by DHD28 - 10/4/15 at 3:25pm
