I spent $164.43 for 2 separate orders from Sportsshoes, and each one included $1.99 shipping. The price looks to have gone up on the Oreo's.

In any case, one order shipped on 2/13 and one on 2/15, still no sign of them to Los Angeles and customer service is no help. They do say 10-14 days to the US though.
Yeah, I ordered some on the 9th and shipped on the 13th. Just got them yesterday. So you might get them today or early next week.
I'm in LA also.

Even though i feel like my car is "nice" or whatever this is definitely true. Outside of a very few handful, they are probably the worst depreciating assets you can own. My m3 will lose 20-30k in value within the next 3 years ... whereas most good sneaker releases will only gain or remain stable haha.

The maintanence costs on the Deutschland lux ones are just too much. Sister dumped the 5 to a Prius after many years. Both you guys got nice ones though. Cool.

I see the word "grail" get tossed around a lot. What's the true meaning of it, or is it open to however someone wants to interpret it as?

To me, a grail is something I wanted for years but couldn't get. For me, black and red AJ1 was my grail because my Mom wouldn't dare spend $65 back in 1985 when they came out.

But i see grails being mentioned for shoes that came out a few months ago and it always seemed very odd to me.

So there is a password, i am assuming its either for friends and family type of thing to get a head start, otherwise for an admin to get in and prepare the launch. Its not public. And you wont need it once the site opens to the public. But you will need to refresh the pw page, it wont go to the product page on its own.

If you keep hitting refresh or guessing pws your gonna get the "too many attempts, wait 10 mins mesg." Idk what happens with that, if you really have to wait 10 mins, cause going back seems to refresh it anyway. But refreshing after that msg doesnt refresh, it brings you back to the msg again so idk if that blocks you from refreshing to the product page when it goes live or not. Its basically a crap shoot of hitting refresh at the right time but not too many times, im just guessing your entry may be delayed if you get that 10 min msg, but maybe not. But you really gotta be one of the first ones in there and quick with the data entry especially with as limited as they were.

Here's what happened to me on YS regarding the password...refreshed @ ~ 6:07 never got the product page directly to the password which I had no clue what it was?

first guess wrong -> refreshed
second guess...incorrect -> refresh
third guess successful -> leads me to the product page -> added sz -> queued for 10-15 min -> OOS

I hope me straight

I agree with you, that is what a grail is. but now its really just a term for the next hot release it seems.

Sportsshoes have probably the worst CS from my experience. I asked for VAT refund in one email and about the status of my order on another and no response at all.
Then next thing I know both orders were canceled since the pending charges on my pp disappeared.
So I'm just ordering from other EU sites that remove VAT upon checkout.

Followup on the question of VAT removal: can't think of too many that automatically do that after purchase. Especially if website changes currency to USD. If those in the know can post the answer, that would be nice. Always more focused on product availability then checking price after.

Not sure for that site but Running Outlet (UK based) charged me VAT, I did a follow up email per the suggestion of someone in here and they refunded it right away, also the shoes  came super fast.

not to mention an extra 15-20k in repair costs, bmw doesnt know how to make reliable cars hence the huge depreciation

I missed the finish line restock earlier today but any where I can find the Ultra Boost 2.0 black in 8 1/2?

No Js back in the day. Tiger Moms in full effect. Don't even ask. Outlier was the Air Command Force for basketball. Still have the OGs and picked up the retros. And the Air Max 90 Infrared OGs. The Emperor allowed that because of discount. Of course.
Those are Old School "grails".

Right on, good to hear. I'm worried how it's going to be delivered since I'm in a gated community and my USPS, FedEX, DHL, and UPS guys know my code, but unsure how this Royal Mail guy will get in.

Haha yeah I think that royal mail stuff is only UK or Europe. Once it gets through customs here in the US, I think it gets transfered to USPS.

do they make Tiro 15 pants without the stripes down the side?
Yes and no

They make adidas pants that are the same fit as tiros that aren't tiros if that makes sense, without the stripes on the side

If you really wanted the tiros then the black with black stripes is the way to go

very true. Not to say i haven't participated in this useless act myself! But as i got older, i realized nice cars are somewhat dumb. To this day i drive a Suburban as my "beater." Keeps the kids and wife safe and hauls all of their gear and friends around with no worries in the world. Get a ding on the door. No problem. That gas though........

And parking sucks.......

Great insight and wisdom. But I didn't say I want a nice one, just a new one. :lol: I haven't been able to purchase a new one yet, and I'm pretty sure I will think it is dumb when it depreciates but hey everyone has to go through it for the experience. *Shrugs*
