Anyone put orthotics/custom insoles in their Ultra boosts? Curious if I'd be able to.

Damn, that just seems like overkill to me. Putting them in some Jordans makes sense, but these?

If it helps any, I'm a HUGE fan of spenco insoles. Like walking on clouds. But you're gonna have to at least a whole size up to get that in there.

I don't think you have to because the shoes are already great in every aspect. But if you need it as advised by your orthopedic doctor, i don't see any reason why u cant

I've got flat feet so my orthopedist recommends putting them in every shoe I can (some they don't work in obviously).

I was just wondering if like the UBs would be compatible with them, cause some shoes (i.e. pure boosts) don't really work with them. So technically, would the UBs work with custom insoles? They're not too big:

^those look like they will easily fit. The insoles i was talking about are much thicker. Thats why i couldn't imagine putting them in some UB's

Alright sweet. Yeah the heel on them is the thickest part, and they're only about 3/4" thick at the most

do you have a pair of UB's? If not, and you're looking to purchase, I'd definitely go half up if you're going to put that insole in

I don't, look to get my first pair, and that's exactly what I was going to ask next! Thank you, much appreciated. From what I've read the consensus has been half up for casual wear, and I would think that especially applies with sliding these into them.

TTS would be fine, but adding that insole could make it a little tight.

I go TTS. Feels perfect.

Thanks for the input guys.

I'm moving to NYC in a week, so I'm thinking of putting my purchase on hold until I can just go to the adidas store and try the UBs on with and without the insoles. Still wanna try and hold out for the all white restock too....

I really want to see them in the store first. Everyones pictures look different.

Anybody see the grey/silver in store?

which spenco insole? The cross trainer?

Yep,Polysorb. I think the Cross Trainer is the newer model. Green on top, yellow on the bottom. Cost is around $16.
yeah. That one. cushion is great on those. Heel more than forefoot though. Perfect for when adidas shoes comes with a paper insole.

Anyone bought the silver UB with the 25% off? Do they charge tax? Seems like UB's dry up quick once they go under retail.

Some lucky individuals must have gotten through that site without the gateway error. Looks like only size 13 left (which can be added to the cart now)

I went TTS and it fits fine
This is becoming the most divisive question in the thread, lol.

Some observations:

People that like it to fit really snug go TTS

People that like a little room size up .5 from their normal nike size.

This is similar to the Flyknit Lunar 3 thread--that was another shoe that because of the weave of the flyknit and where it came together, provided a very snug fit. About half the people in that thread sized up .5 from their normal jordan/air max size, and others went TTS.

For me, I like a little room and I don't like the feeling of it hugging my feet. But that's just me. I feel like I have normal width feet as well.

I only find it tight on the sides where the cage is but the toebox itself is more roomy than Nike flyknit stuff like racers
